Hello hello! I have family dogs of my own that live back in the US and I miss them every day. I love to spend time with animals, if I pet a dog my day is infinitely better. I love seeing their personalities and joy, taking them for walks, playing with toys or just sitting together. I'm patient, having a rescue dog that was found abandoned on the street I am familiar with their quirks and anxieties, and let them adjust and tell me what they need from me. 

I have stayed with both dogs and cats (from 2 kittens to 4 cats) many times as a pet and house sitter, and also done visits to just check in and feed them. Obviously having my own dogs and taking care of their dog friends, I have walked multiple dogs and given them both attention so no one gets all dramatic and jealous. I have had pets since I was about 10, first a rabbit, and then dogs, including Labradors and a rescue we think is an Eskimo-Jack Russell (but who knows). 

This may be about taking care of the animal, but honestly they take care of us too don't they? I'd love to chat about your pet!

PLEASE NOTE!

- I am currently working 2 days a week (usually thursday Friday) in The Hague and am away from Leiden those days from 9:30/10:00 until 7ish. Sundays I usually work 12-5 in Leiden. I leave work days open as I've been able to make arrangements around it and arrive after for example or for visiting cats or cats staying at my house that has been alright.

-Happy to do pet sitting in Den Haag also but for visits/walks it is limited to Leiden area. For walks and visits I always hang out with the pet for a while rather than just pop in and leave. 

-Open to having pets stay at my apartment upon request/discussion but I will have at least two workdays as mentioned. Small dogs only for boarding as it is not a big apartment. 

-Currently taking bookings up to approx one month in advance.
