Hi! My name is Morgan, and I'm an American who has been living in Amsterdam for 4 years. I grew up with dogs and when I moved into my own apartment, started fostering dogs from all over Europe, training and socializing them before they head off to their new forever homes. :) 

I decided to keep one special foster pup named Pepita nearly 1 year ago and we couldn't be happier together. Being a Podenco, Pepita has a true pack mentality and can't get enough play time with other dogs. Since I mostly work from home, I thought this would be a nice way to have other dogs around without the long term commitment of fostering again. I am available for doggy daycare during the 2-3 days per week that I work from home. I personally feel that as pack animals, dogs are happiest with other dogs around, but I am flexible if you prefer your dog to be the only one (other than Pepita) when they're at my house. 

During daycare, you can expect two walks of at least 30 minutes each - but if it's a nice day, Westerpark is only a 20 min walk from me and I love taking my dog there! I also have a small enclosed balcony for your dog to get some fresh air and sniff around when it's warm. 

Your dog won't be home alone while in my care; I live alone and mostly bring my dog wiith me when I need to go anywhere. For overnight guests, dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me, but I also have a variety of other soft surfaces that are dog friendly, ranging from the dog bed to the couch. 

Pepita gets along with most animals, both big and small, but of course a good match is important so it's important to have a meeting first on neutral territory so they can sniff eachother out a bit. I know how difficult it can be to entrust your furbaby to another person, so I do not take the responsibility lightly; what you can expect from a day spent at my house is tons of cuddles, long walks in Westerpark, toys galore and maybe even some snacks (special diets permitting ;) ). I will treat your pup as my own and welcome them warmly into my home. Looking forward to meeting them!
