I grew up around dogs (a cocker spaniel, cairn terrier, golden retriever, and a lurcher), so caring for animals has always been second nature. While living in my hometown of Bristol, I regularly looked after my housemate’s ragdoll cat—a bit of a diva—which got me familiar with feline routines and quirks. In Eindhoven, I took care of three cats, including one with more complex needs, giving me hands-on experience with a range of personalities and care requirements. Now based in Utrecht, I frequently cat-sit for a close friend and his two cats, deepening my connection with and love for the feline kind.
