Hello, I’m Ceyda, a Turkish expat currently living in Amsterdam Noord.

I have 13 years of experience caring for dogs, starting with my beloved Pomeranian who was part of my family for 10 years. I took full responsibility for her training, and she grew into a wonderfully unique companion. After getting married, I adopted a stray dog, Leo, in Istanbul. Unfortunately, our journey together was cut short when he was diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma just six months after I brought him home. For six months, I cared for him through chemotherapy treatments, but sadly, he passed away. Losing him was deeply painful, and it took me two years to heal from his loss.

Now, I feel ready to reconnect with dogs and spend meaningful time with them, which is why I’ve decided to become a pet sitter.

I am a biologist, with my biology background and knowledge of animal behavior, I can easily understand dogs’ body language and form a bond with them quickly. I’m confident in providing personalized care tailored to their unique needs, whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply companionship.

I’m also happy to assist with any medical needs your pet might have, including administering medications or treatments. My goal is to ensure your furry friends feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away.
