About me

My name is James, a father of two human girls and two cats.

I am a dog person. When I lived in my home country Taiwan, I had a Bernice Mountain "A Shan", which means mountains in Mandarin. After A Shan passed away in his twelve, I decided not to have another dog.

In 2023, I moved to the Netherlands with my family. I found Netherlands an ideal place to live with a dog. However, I am not sure if I am ready to have a new dog as family member. That’s why I would like to take care for others’ dogs first.

About my experience

After spending 20 years living with dogs (I also had a mixed small dog before A Shan), I get along with big and small dogs well. I can pet, walk, clean, feed, give oral or skin medicine, and play with your dogs. If necessary, I can also pick them up and drop them by your house within 5km around 5702TN.

About my neighborhood

There is a lot of greeneries and walk paths around my house. There is also a fenced dog playgound nearly.

About my service

Home visits: up to 30 min playing with your dog, watering plant, or other home caring jobs while you are away...open for discussion

Dog walking: up to 30 min per walk, 2 walks a day, depending on if your dog needs extra or less walk, it's also open for discussion.

Home boarding and daycare:

If your dog is calm and can get along with my cats, s/he will stay in our ground floor. Please see my photos for the ground floor space. Otherwise, we also has a semi outdoor space with glassdoor and a fenced garden to ensure your dog is safe and warm here. Feel free to bring dog toys or bed with him/her.

There are a lot of greeneries and walk paths around my house. There is also a fenced dog playground nearby. We can play catch balls there.  

During the day there will be just me in my house, so I will have a lot of time to be with your dog. In the morning when I walk my kids to school and in the afternoon when I get my kids back, your dog can be with us.

I ride mountain bike. I can bring your dog with me to run in the woods if you are fine with that.

However, if your dog needs to be accompanied 24/7 without leaving, it could be quite challenging. We need to discuss beforehand and make sure we understand each other's requirements.

There will be only up to 1 big dog or 2 small dogs at my house at a time.
