Hello, I’m Jessie!

I recently moved to Groningen from the US with my husband in January 2025, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away.

I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I grew up with cats and currently have two of my own, Nemo (a 14-year-old male) and Chloe (a 6-year-old female). My family has always had multiple cats, so I’m comfortable caring for cats with different personalities, routines, and needs.

I also have experience caring for dogs through dog walking, house sitting, and providing in-home care. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and routine, whether they need an energetic walk, companionship, or a calm presence while their owners are away.

Home visits
My standard home visit is 30 minutes and includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, playtime, affection, and companionship. If your pet prefers quiet company, I’m also happy to simply sit with them. Longer visits are available for an additional fee.

House sitting
The base price listed is for spending the night (12 hours), one 30 min walk and caring for up to 2 pets. If you would like additional daytime check-ins, extended daytime hours, additional walks, or have more than 2 pets, an additional fee may apply. Please contact me for pricing.

I can also administer medications, check on your home while you’re away, water plants, and of course give your pets plenty of love and attention.

I’m happy to travel beyond 3 km, though an additional travel fee applies depending on the distance and number of trips required.

A little about me: I’m a yoga teacher, ik spreek Nederlands op niveau B1, and I love music.

Your pets’ comfort, safety, and happiness are my priority. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide reliable, loving care while you’re away.
