Hi everyone! My name is Simona, and I am a Master’s psychology student at Leiden University. While my studies focus on human psychology, my heart has belonged to animals since I was a child. I spent my younger years begging my mum for a hamster, which eventually led to my family raising our first puppy, Bren, a Large Münsterländer. We also rescued a street cat named Loki, who is a giant ball of love but definitely likes to cause a little mischief! Beyond loving my own pets, I have hands-on experience from volunteering at the Animal Rescue Algarve shelter in Portugal. There, I worked with all kinds of dogs and cats, learning how to handle different temperaments, energies, and exercise needs. Because of my university schedule, I have a highly flexible routine and plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friends. What I Offer: Dog Walking: Energetic and tailored 30-to-60-minute walks. I am happy to accommodate high-energy dogs who need a lot of movement, as well as calmer senior dogs. Home Visits & Pet Sitting: I can drop by your home to feed your pets, clean litter boxes, play, and provide companionship. My background makes me patient with shy or anxious animals. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, cats, and small caged animals. Feel free to get in touch so we can adjust everything to your pet's specific routine. I am so excited to meet you and your beloved pets!
