Hi! I’m Shirin, a Master's student living in Rotterdam and a lifelong cat lover. Back home, I have an 8 year old Persian cat named Lucy, who currently lives with my cousin while I’m here. I really miss having her around, which is one of the reasons I love the idea of caring for other people's cats and I care a lot about making sure they feel safe, calm, and well looked after while their owners are away. I adapt to each cat’s personality. Some warm up quickly and want to play; others need patience and space first. Either way, I always let the cat set the pace and focus on building trust. While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve spent years caring for my own cat and understand how important routine, patience, trust and attention are for them. I currently offer 2 types of services in Rotterdam: One Home Visit per Day I’ll feed your cat, refresh water, clean the litter box, and spend some quality time with them depending on their personality, whether that’s play followed by some treats, cuddles, or quiet company. I always make sure everything looks fine before I leave, and I’ll send you an update with photos after each visit. Two Home Visits per Day This option is for cats who need a bit more attention or routine check-ins. Same care as above, with two daily visits arranged flexibly based on your cat’s routine and your preferences. Having cared for Lucy for many years, I am particularly familiar with long-haired cats and basic coat maintenance, including gentle brushing if your cat also enjoys it. If you think we'd be a good match, I'd love to hear from you and meet your cat!
