Hi, my name is Phoenix, I'm a 24-year-old international student at Wageningen University & Research. Back home, I'm a meowmy to my spoiled sweet cat named Chatty.

My motivation to be a pet sitter:

When I arrived in the Netherlands, everything felt so new and one thing I miss the most is my furbaby. As a cat mom for more than 6 years (and still counting!), I never imagined my life without a fur companion by my side and I felt so lonely. So I decided to be a pet sitter where I can spend more time with many furbabies and their unique personalities, to fill that emptiness. Plus, I can get some extra money ;)

My experience as a pet sitter, caretaker, rescuer, and owner:

I always love animals since I was a kid, but at that time, I didn't have a companion as my own. Then, when I was in college, I met my soulmate, Chatty, a senior house mini-panther she changed my life forever. My passion and love for animals keep growing and I started a rescue, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and street feeding self-motivated program to stray cats and dogs around my area. From this experience, I learned a lot of new things, from how to take care of sick and homeless pets, to studying their behavior and spending more time cuddling or taking them for a walk (and not only dogs but cats, too!). I also help them search for a new home because each of them deserves a loving home 🥰

I am flexible and have a lot of free time, especially in the evening and weekends. Since I am living in student housing, I am not available to take pets into my room currently. I am open to all other services and stay-at-home service at night as well, and I'm also able to take care of pets from different sizes and age ranges.

Currently, I prefer to do pet sitting in Wageningen area due to the travel time and costs.
