Hi, I’m Daze. Animals have been the main focus of my life for as long as I can remember.

I started working as a veterinary assistant at 12, and since then I’ve gained hands-on experience across a wide range of species through animal care, handling, and rehabilitation. I’ve worked with everything from dogs and small pets to reptiles, birds of prey, and livestock, including alpacas.

I’m also a dedicated dog owner. My days are built around long, structured walks, enrichment, and getting outside with my Border Collie, Fable.

What I offer

I provide calm, small-scale care, no large packs, no chaotic group walks.

Dog walking
Walks are typically around an hour and take place in carefully chosen, safe locations such as Stanmer Park, where dogs have space to explore and enjoy themselves. I only walk your dog alongside my own, Fable, never large groups.

I will always follow your preferences around lead use. If your dog is reliable, they’ll have the freedom to run and play. If not, they’ll still have plenty of time to sniff, explore, and move at their own pace.

I have a Volvo estate and can offer pick-up/drop-off. Dogs travel comfortably in the spacious boot, so they’re not cramped or stressed before or after their walk.

Doggy daycare
Your dog will join us for our usual long walks and then come back to a calm, home environment where they can rest, play, and be properly looked after between outings. It’s a relaxed, attentive setup — not a high-volume daycare.

Small & exotic animal care
I’m very confident with reptiles, small mammals, birds and other specialist pets, and understand how important it is to follow routines precisely. Care is always tailored and consistent.

I keep things simple, reliable, and stress-free for both you and your animals, and I’ll always send updates so you know they’re happy and safe.

Please note: for dog walks, Fable will be the only other dog present. He’s friendly, well-socialised, and enjoys a play, but won’t overwhelm more sensitive dogs.
