Hi!

My name is Annieka, I am 25 years old, Dutch, and living in The Hague. I grew up in Eindhoven, but moved to The Hague in 2020, and started petsitting a year later. Ive gained much experience over the past years.

Ive been a volunteer at the animal ambulance shelter since January 2025. Here i have learned much about animal behaviour, trauma, illness and how to give medicine. It has been a very valuable experience to see animals grow socially, regain faith in humans and finding their forever home.

I am a very calm and patient person. I have noticed most animals appreciate this, as I will always give them the time and space to feel comfortable and to earn their trust. I believe a good foundation is most important in any relationship.

I am a easy person when it comes to helping out others (and animals ofcours), therefore I am always open to learn from others and gain new experiences :)
