Hi! My name is Marta, I am originally from Portugal but have been living in The Netherlands for almost 10 years. I live together with my partner, I am a very responsible, animal-loving person that enjoys the outdoors.

I have always been surrounded by animals and pets... cats, dogs, birds, horses, hamsters, rats (yes, as pets!) even petauros! For 4 years I have cared for 2 cats and in friend's absences, I have been asked to take care of their dogs, cats and 2 female pet rats. I have no problem in following specific pet indications, as how/what to feed or as administrating simple medication.

In our home, we have a (very) big aquarium with all sorts of fish. There is a back garden with enough outdoor space to spend time both in the sun or shade. Nearby there are several parks and forest paths with nice nature areas for small/big walks with plenty of space for off leash running as well. Overall it is a calm neighbourhood with low traffic.

Our new family addition is Pepper, a sweet, cuddly, energetic and enthusiastic female Podengo. She gets along very easily with other dogs, loves to play and to be chased by other dogs.

When your pet stays with us, please note:

That he/she is trained, is socialized and has basic obedience such as walking on leash and name recall (overall). Of course it is also important that he/she gets along with Pepper.

We also have 2 kids living part-time with us, aged 10 and 12. It would also be necessary that when a dog stays with us he/she is not aggressive towards kids and knows the cues of when to stop playing (both with other dogs and children).
