Hello there!

My name is Stephanie, and I’m in my mid-30s, living in the charming city of The Hague. Growing up, I was surrounded by a wonderful menagerie of pets: cats, dogs, a guinea pig, and even a bearded dragon! Now, I share my home with my partner and our cat, Etna, she was born on a farm and loves the freedom of the outdoors but is just as content curled up indoors. She’s a social butterfly, always curious about the people and animals around her.

Both my partner and I are passionate photographers, and we thrive on adventure and exploration. We like spending time outdoors, whether it’s at the beach or wandering through nature. Our work often takes us on journeys, but we cherish the flexibility it gives us to dedicate quality time to our furry friends.

That’s how I discovered Pawshake! It’s been a joy to both seek sitters for Etna and offer my services to care for other pets. I truly value staying connected with pet parents, so I always provide a little update after each visit, whether through an update or a photo.

I’m open to special requests too—whether it’s a bit of grooming or administering light medication, I’m happy to help! While I may not have formal training, I’m always eager to learn and can assess how to best care for your pet with your guidance.

In addition to pet care, I’m more than willing to help with little tasks around your home, like watering plants or sorting mail, just to make your life a bit easier.

I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved pet! It would be an honor to be part of their care routine and to create a bond with them.

P.S. A little about Sofia—she is origionally from Argentina, where she had a beautiful connection with India, a dog she rescued from the streets. Sofia has a heart of gold and has saved many dogs, always finding them loving homes. Together, we’re excited to extend that love and care to your furry family members!
