I'm a Mexican/Dutch biologist and photographer. I've had pets my whole life: cats, dogs, horses. Right now, I have no pets. As such, I've dog and catsitted for 9 years now, because I love interacting with them.

Any holidays I get now, I spend them taking care of animals (dogs, cats, horses, sheep). I used to live with a Border Collie (the one on the photo) and we'd play mind games and I'd teach her new words every day. She left a mark on me on the depth of animal awareness. I finished my master's degree in Evolutionary Biology at the RUG, and I'm a freelance wedding photographer, as well as a remote programmer. After travelling around for studies and working for 11 years I settled in Groningen. I love taking pictures of animals (and people) as well, trying to capture the quirks of personality. I can offer the optional service of professional pet photos (prints or digital) for an additional fee. I also love learning about animal behaviour and do a lot of reading on it.

I live in an appartment in Groningen, and I like to house sit pets at their place, since my partner is allergic and pets are generally much happier in their own space. Since a lot of my work is computer-based, I work from home most days. I like to go running/walking with the dogs to the surrounding parks and forests, and maybe have some fun taking pictures of them indoors and outdoors.

I like to walk three times per day (for half an hour to an hour each walk). I love playing and finding new stimuli for them (if they're up for it).
