Being a dog owner myself (French bulldog), I know firsthand the responsibility as much as the joy of having a four-legged chum sleeping, playing and running around. It's almost like your child, and definitely always a baby. And I've also faced the nuances of finding a sitter or trouble-free boarding right when needed.

Driven by this, I'd like to help other dog -parents out there. And so, for the time being I am happy to offer day care and boarding. On weekdays, drop off for boarding would be possible only in the evening fyi.

About us. My dog is medium sized, castrated French bulldog, regularly vaccinated and treated for parasites as much we walk and play outdoors. Playful, cheeky and curious buddy, he is active on some days and sleepy on other. Generally, my dog follows daily disciplines and routines and is therefore a healthy and a well behaved (yet, opinionated 🦦) littleman most of the time.

What breeds I accept. Any as long as the physical size of the dog is small to medium. That, as you guess, is related to how the dogs get along. there would only be the two of them as pets at one time. My boy is super friendly with dogs and humans. The only context that he may become reactive is if big- (rarely mid-) sized uncastrated male dogs try to hump him. To anticipate this and more, it makes the meet and greet process all the more important, and sometimes I'd have to refuse large active unneutered boys.

Small sized can be non-castrated but medium sized male dogs preferably, final understanding is made out of meet and greet. If you are absolutely sure your uncastrated dog never humps, we can make an exception. Goes by common sense. Pups should be potty trained.

Pick up/Drop off. Flexible as long as it doesn't exceed reasonable hours for day care and 24h for boarding. Depending on the drop off and pick up time, I can walk the dogs between two and three times during the day (there's a dog park nearby), and feed as needed.

Other animals. I personally love cats, birds, you name it. As a kid, I always had pets at home (not all at one time 😉): a huge aquarium, a hedgehog, a parrot, a rabbit, and a couple of kitties. My fave sweetheart cat lived in our home for 21 years. But with my current resident k9-gentleman, keeping in mind that he would be too tempted, I do not take risks with any animals that can trigger his hunter instinct.
