Hey!

My name is Carolina, I am originally Brazilian and moved to the Netherlands about 5 years ago for my studies and stayed for work. I am super passionate about dogs, and have been since I was a child. My parents helped me realise my dream of having a pet at the age of 10, when we got a Maltese named Linda. Linda moved around Brazil and Colombia with us, and a few years later, we added a Maltese mix named Sherlock to the family. Both have been wonderful companions, having very different (and sweet) personalities, and they deepened my love and understanding of dogs even more. 

A few years ago, my family adopted my soul dog, Pepita, who had deep-rooted fear issues with people and (to a lesser extent) other dogs. Pepita is the most lovable, funny, and sweet pet I’ve ever known, and I wanted to help her live a less stressful life. So, what was a passion became a core aspect of my life!

Through a lot of research and trial and error, I learned a lot about dog behavior, body language, positive reinforcement training, socialization, and simply respecting her boundaries. I’m happy to say that Pepita is now a much happier dog! 

Since moving away to the Netherlands, I have really missed having a dog to share life with. Unfortunately I'm currently not able to own a dog full time, so I want to take any opportunity I can to spend time with dogs. So being able to take care of your pet would make me very happy :)

I currently live with my boyfriend, who has also been around dogs since he was a child and loves them. We both have flexible work from home schedules and I also have a pet friendly office (should you be ok with that). We live in a 40m2 apartment in the Lelylaan area, with plenty of green spots to walk your dog. Together, we can provide your pet a loving and safe environment while you are away. Rest assured they will be in good hands :)
