We are a pet-loving family with two young children (ages 5 and 2). Although we currently have no pets of our own, we truly enjoy welcoming animals into our home to bring extra warmth and liveliness to our days. Both my spouse and I grew up with animals – I had a dog, Tia, for 14 wonderful years, and Joris grew up with several cats and a dog – so caring for pets is something that feels natural to us.

Over the years we’ve gained experience with both dogs and cats through our own family pets as well as multiple periods of pet sitting. I also have experience working with rescue animals thanks to my volunteer work in shelters in the U.S. and Mexico, so we are familiar with behavioural needs and can offer patient, attentive care.

Our home in Zeist is warm, sunny and full of comfortable spots for pets to relax. We live close to a park and forest, making walks and playtime easy and enjoyable. Because we both work from home, someone is always around during the day, so your pet will have plenty of company and attention.

We are happy to host pets for short stays or longer holidays. During their stay, we keep owners updated and are always glad to share photos so you can see how your pet is settling in. Your pet will never be lonely here and will be treated with the same care and affection we would give our own.

We were previously active on Pawshake before having children and are excited to be back in a new city (Zeist instead of Amsterdam). We look forward to meeting your furry family member!
