You will actually be doing us a favour! We are Louise & Neil - a Brazilian/British couple who has been living in The Netherlands for almost 7 years. We are huge dog lovers and will love to host your pet in our house.

My husband and I live in a house near a park, a dog park and I have a fully fenced small garden for them to play outside. 

We are looking to host dogs that are comfortable with other dogs, since we have our little Fiona (a 5.5kg rescue dog from Romania who is the most docile and gentle dog you will meet, but who also loves to chase her toys and meeting other dogs). This is a perfect opportunity if your dog feels lonely and can benefit from the company of 2 humans and one little dog who loves making new friends.

I have a long history with many family dogs and a lot of experience taking care of them. Back in my country I rescued Bela when she was a baby and now she is a 17 year old lady, and rescued Leona 6 years ago as a puppy. Both of them live with my parents back in Brazil, Bela is a cuddly sweet dog and Leona is a mad Tasmanian little monster and we love hanging out with them both. In the Netherlands we dogsit Bilbo, a rescue 11 year old boy who is a bit afraid of people and other dogs but lets us rub his belly and pet him anyway. We have hosted him many times, even for weeks and he loves the house and the garden. We also host Yoshi (a Shiba) often, as he loves being in the company of Fiona - they like sleeping next to each other. Other than the regulars, we have hosted several dogs through Pawshake as you can see in the reviews.

We work most days from home and have flexibility to take them for walks. We also don't have any kids - it's just me and my husband, and Fiona.

Our services:
- I can host your dog in my house for a day if you need to go to the office or a few weeks if you need to go abroad 
- I can take them for lots of walks: long ones (we have a car to drive to parks further from town) or just in front of my house where there is a small dog area where they can be off leash
- I can administrate food and oral medicine if needed
- They will spend some good quality time outside in our small garden in the sun, or underneath my hortentia bushes
- We have a few tennis balls that we are happy to throw many times for them to catch, as much as we are happy to cuddle them as much as they want
