About Caitlin
- Greetings! I am looking forward to meeting your furry family member soon :) I am a 33 year old American woman living and working in the Netherlands for the past seven years.I have a deep love for animals especially dogs but due to a travel heavy lifestyle I don't have a pet of my own just yet.
- Pawshake is the perfect way for me to stay connected to animals and share the care, attention, and love they deserve. I grew up with two yellow Labradors who went everywhere with me, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. As a former athlete, I’m very active and love long walks, playtime, and keeping pets engaged and happy.
- I’m comfortable handling a variety of pet needs and personalities, from energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise to calmer pets who prefer a slower, more relaxed routine. I carefully follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication, routines, and any special care requirements. I always take the time to understand each pet’s habits and comfort levels so they feel safe and at ease.
- My daily routine with pets typically includes morning and evening walks (or litter care for cats), regular feeding times, play and enrichment, rest periods, and plenty of affection and attention throughout the day. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
- I’m trained in basic pet first aid and know how to respond calmly and appropriately in case of minor injuries or emergencies, always prioritising your pet’s safety and wellbeing.
- I have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats in owners’ homes in the USA, Australia, and the Netherlands. I I especially enjoy caring for pets that are friendly, social, and outgoing, much like myself, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you and your pet!
