Hello Pawshake community! I'm Maria Paola, originally from Italy and I've been living in the Netherlands for 8 years.

The dogs I have been meeting through Pawshake are helping me to cope with the grief of losing our dog, Dash, about a year ago. She lived a long life (16 years and a half) traveling around the world and delighting everybody with her Dachshund Chihuahua personality. I don't have to tell you how much it hurts to lose a pet you've had for over 15 years.

I'm not ready to have another pet just yet, so I thought maybe I could help you guys out, if you want to go and catch a concert, a movie, or have a relaxing walk alone with your thoughts in the lovely Dutch weather, a well deserved vacation, or maybe you just need a little break from your furry friends. 

I've been around dogs and cats all my life, and I'd be happy to give some love to your babies when you're not available.
