My name is Oleksandr, and I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Since I’ve always loved animals, I thought pet sitting would be the perfect job alongside my studies.

I promise to bring plenty of love, care, and experience to make sure your pet is left purring with joy or wagging their tail with happiness!

I’ve spent my entire life around animals, growing up with two cats and two dogs, and I’ve always been the first to volunteer to pet-sit for friends and family. Over the years, I’ve developed a good understanding of cat and dog body language, as well as how to get to know their individual personalities, routines, and preferences. This allows me to tailor my care to each pet’s specific needs, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.

All my pet care services take place in your home, so your furry family members can stay in their familiar surroundings and stick to their usual routines. Whether you need someone to take your dog on a lovely walk, keep your cat company, pop in for feeding and check-ins, look after your pets while you’re away, or stay overnight to provide some extra company and care, I’m happy to find an arrangement that works best for you and your pets.

Walks and visits: I’m happy to tailor dog walks to your dog’s energy levels and needs, with walks typically lasting around 30–60 minutes, depending on what works best for them. Home visits can include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, toilet breaks, playtime, and general check-ins. Of course, I’m happy to discuss shorter visits or other arrangements depending on your pet’s routine and needs.

Availability and routines: As a master’s student, my availability depends on my class schedule, but I’m happy to coordinate visits and walks in advance. I can also discuss overnight stays and care during weekends or holidays, depending on my availability. Before each booking, we can agree on visit times, how often your pet needs company, and how long they can comfortably be left alone between visits. I understand that every animal is different, and I’ll always take their individual needs and usual routine into account.

Your home and peace of mind: Since I’ll be caring for your pets in your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and care. I’ll follow your instructions regarding keys, locks, alarms, doors, and windows, and make sure everything is securely locked whenever I leave. I’ll also keep the areas I use tidy, respect your privacy, and let you know if anything unexpected comes up. I’m happy to send you photos and updates while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your furry friends are doing well!

I welcome cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic pups who need plenty of walks to shy kitties who prefer to have some space (and perhaps a treat or two), every pet deserves care that suits them.

My goal is simple: to give your pets all the love, attention, and care they deserve, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands :)
