Hello there!

We are Kim and Joey, proud pet parents who have been living in Leiden for over 8 years. Our furry family includes our rescue dog Emilio and our two indoor rescue cats, Archie (a white cat) and Tapas (a tuxedo cat). We’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for the past 3 years, and now we’re excited to open our home to your furry companions!

We live in a spacious 3-bedroom apartment just 10 minutes from the center of Leiden. Our home is designed to be a comfortable retreat for both cats and dogs. Emilio, our dog, enjoys at least three walks a day in the park right behind our building, so your dog is more than welcome to join Emilio on these outings for some fresh air, exercise, and playtime. It’s the perfect spot for long, relaxed walks, where your doggo can enjoy the open space with a friendly buddy by their side.

For our feline guests, we’ve converted our indoor balcony into a cozy cat room, equipped with a cat tree, cat tower, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Archie and Tapas love it there, and visiting cats always enjoy exploring this little haven. There’s also ample space in our living room and hallway for them to roam, chase toys, or lounge in the sun. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the living room is bathed in natural light, offering a great view of the outdoors, which our cats love to gaze at or soak up the sun if it’s a sunny day.

We both work from home full-time, so your pet will never be alone for long. Whether it’s a dog who craves companionship and playtime, or a cat who loves a peaceful space to relax, we’ll be here to provide constant attention, pets, and care. We also take the time to ensure a smooth transition for all our guest pets, especially cats, introducing them slowly to the household to make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

We’ll keep you updated with daily pictures and messages, so you can relax on your holiday knowing your pet is in good hands. Our home is your pet’s home away from home—though we can’t guarantee they’ll want to leave (lol)!
