Hello!

My name is Emily and I am a petsitter! I am originally from Baltimore in the USA and am currently studying at Leiden University. I have grown up with animals my whole life, taking care of both cats and dogs until I moved away for school. My dog (Dexter) and my cat (Buddy) both have had health issues in the past, so I am knowledgeable about administering eye drops, medicine, and the care and consideration that goes into loving a sick or elderly animal. This has also resulted in me becoming quite the chef for my pets, as their issues heavily affected their diets. I have additional experience dog-walking, as I offered to my services locally in my home country. I also have more extensive experience in cat-sitting: most recently, over the span of the summer, I looked after a kitten a couple months old (so cute) whose name was Boots.

Ultimately, caring for animals is about love, patience, and respect. They have their own personalities, quirks, anxieties, and boundaries. Understanding that is key to how I approach my petsitting.
