Hello! 

I am Meliti, a 26 year old person from Greece living near the center of Enschede. I am working while applying to Psychology Masters at the moment. With a background in mental health, I’ve always been fascinated by the special bond between humans and animals. I believe that our coexistence brings out the best in both sides, offering comfort, joy, and a sense of fulfillment.

I grew up around animals and have hands-on experience caring for dogs within my own family. My mother and sister both have rescue dogs, so I’ve seen firsthand the patience, understanding and consistency needed to help animals feel safe and happy. In addition, my mother’s dog lives with a chronic illness, which has given me valuable experience in caring for pets who require extra support, medication and gentle handling.
