Hi! My name is Sofia and I find dogs the best friends. I have a Labrador of 1.5 years old (active, playful and energetic) and I love her. We have done puppy training with her so I’m aware of the commands and dog behaviour.
Also, back in my country I grew up with two dogs (German shepherd and a schnauzer) and the puppies of one of them.
I have experienced how difficult is when you don’t have enough time to walk your dog and you need someone who you really trust to help you. Be sure that I will always treat your dogs as they would be mine, giving them the love and care they deserve.
I decided to dog-walking because I enjoy spending time with dogs and of course who doesn’t want extra money while having fun. 
I understand that life is busy, so anything I can do to help get your dog out of the house and enjoying the outdoors is what I'm here for! With my dogs I have learned about wide variety of collars, leashes, harnesses, and the appropriate training techniques and approaches required for walking dogs.
It doesn’t matter if your dog is medium or small, is calm or high energy, and enjoys walking or jogging. What it is important is to spend time with your dog to really get to know them and to make sure your dog enjoys their walk and release their energy while staying safe.

Hi, thanks for checking my profile!  My name is Rebecca, and I absolutely love dogs. I grew up with dogs around me, and for the majority of my life had a dog of my own (a Golden Retriever called Lena). Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands four years ago to study at University. Although I would love to have a dog of my own again, I don't have enough financial stability for that just yet - thus dog sitting is a great solution for me!  I feel super comfortable around all dogs, big or small, male or female. I am also okay with giving medicine if needed, and would love to try and teach some tricks if you want!  I offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting, doggy daycare, and home dog boarding... I am generally just happy to be around those four-legged energy bundles. Next to that, it's a great way to stay active :-) Below some more information on each service:  Dog walking: I live only a street away from the Catharijnesingel, where it is great to go on walks with dogs! Walking times would range from 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the needs of your dog. Depending on where you live, I am happy to take your dog on walks in their known environment, or explore new areas with them. What is important to me is to align well with you and your dogs needs, and adjust accordingly. I offer one long walk or one to two short walks per day.Home visits: From the centre of Utrecht I can reach most neighbourhoods with a breezy 10 min cycle. On a typical home visit, I would stay between 30 min to 1 hour, where I make sure your pet is in a clean environment, has enough to drink, give food if required, and take your dog(s) outisde to the toilet. Next to that I am happy to spend time playing with your pet, and check that the house is alright (mail, garbage, windows closed, etc.).House sitting: During a house sit I stay at your house while you are gone and make sure your house and your pet(s) are well taken care of. Next to the services of house visits, I would also take your dog(s) on a long walk or two shorter ones (depending on what we agree on). I will make sure your house is clean and not leave the pets alone for more than 3 hours - and of course send daily (photo) updates of your furry friend to you :-). Doggy daycare: I live in an apartment in the city centre where pets are more than welcome! Your dog will be free to move around in my flat, and I will make sure it is safe for them to do so (i.e. nothing to hurt them or that they could ingest). Next to feeding and playing with them, I will take your dog on walks as needed, either (multiple) shorter ones of 30 min or longer ones of 1-2 hours. I live with one roommate who is also happy to be around dogs, but their care will be fully in my hands. We have no pets of our own. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Home dog boarding: Next to the services of doggy daycare, I will make sure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep where they feel safe. I will make sure that they are not left alone for more than 3 hours, and have enough to eat, drink, play - overall that they have a great time with me! I only board one dog or one "household" of 1-2 dogs at the same time, to make sure I have enough time and attention for them. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Note on my own apartment: I live on the first floor, and the entry stairs are fairly steep - see the photo gallery. If your dog is small I am happy to carry them up and down, but if you have a larger dog they need to be able to walk up and down the stairs themselves.  I am currently doing a Master study in Sustainable Business & Innovation at the UU. Next to being passionate about dogs, I enjoy photography and filmmaking, drawing, sewing, and I am currently learning to rollerskate (it's a slow but steady progress). :-)  As a person, you will usually see me smiling from ear to ear. Hallo!Ik ben Aileen en ben een grote dierenliefhebber. Ik werk in de jeugdzorg en heb daardoor onregelmatige werktijden. Ik heb daardoor veel vrije tijd waarin het mij heerlijk lijkt om met een hond te wandelen of om thuis even langs te komen om hem of haar te verzorgen. Het is voor mij echt gewoon een hobby, om zo mensen uit de brand te helpen, te ontspannen met de dieren en een klein zakcentje bij te verdienen. Het werkt ontzettend rustgevend om met een hond de natuur in te gaan.Ik heb zelf bij mijn ouders de kat die op de foto staat. Verder houd ik ontzettend van honden en zij van mij. Helaas heb ik zelf nog geen hond maar dat is wel een droom van mij. Ik heb altijd een Duitse herder of nova scotia duck tolling retriever gewild. Zodra het kan, neem ik zeker mijn eigen hond!Verder over mijzelf: Ik ben afgestudeerd als Orthopedagoog bij Universiteit Utrecht. Ik ben momenteel werkzaam als pedagogisch medewerker. Hierbij werk ik met jongeren die gedragsproblemen vertonen.Ondanks dat ik misschien niet super veel ervaring heb, ben ik een zeer betrouwbaar persoon die veel liefde te geven heeft aan uw hond of kat.Ik hoop u en uw huisdier snel te zien! I'm Audrey, a French girl living in the Netherlands. I'm about to finish my master's degree this year at HKU, Utrecht. So, pet sitting will be a great opportunity for me to earn a little income and enjoy some companionship from time to time.
As for experience, I had a rabbit for 8 years. Coquelicot (her name) was enjoying her time and was such a lovely rabbit to take care of. I lived in South Africa for 3 months and took care of 4 pugs (as you can see in the pictures), it was amazing! I enjoyed getting to know each pug personally, playing with them, and taking care of them during those 3 months! I'm used to doing pet sitting in France. I've taken care of some cats, either by going to the owner's place or by having them stay at my house. I currently live in a studio, so I'm more inclined to go to the owner's place, but I can always take a cat with me for a few days if needed. Everything always worked out very well and the cats always felt comfortable (I am a cat lover, whenever I see one in the street, I stop and cuddle it).
Doing this job again will brighten my days, and I will be super happy to take care of your animal while you are away. I will always share pictures to show the owner that everything is going well and there is nothing to worry about :).
I also do analog photography and could maybe take some nice pictures as an additional service! It could be fun and nice to have a beautiful portrait of your animal in your house! And more artistic!
