Oh, let me tell you, I'm practically the "Pet Whisperer Extraordinaire" when it comes to pet sitting!  I've got more experience with critters of all shapes and sizes than you can shake a stick at!

Picture this: I've hung out with dogs who've got more personality than a Hollywood actor, and cats who think they're the rulers of the universe (which, honestly, they might be). Birds? Sure, I've chatted with them about everything from the weather to their favorite songs. Even the scaly and slimy ones – reptiles and amphibians, I'm talking about you!

I'm not just your average pet sitter; I'm a bona fide animal enthusiast. I've taken crash courses in "Doggy Dance Moves" and "Kitty Cuddles 101." I've got a degree in "Feathered Friends 4 Ever," and I'm fluent in "Purrfect Paws."

As a pet lover, I am dedicated to providing top-notch care for your pets. I will gladly spend my free days pet sitting your dog or cat. They will not be left unattended. I grew up with dogs and cats. Once I moved to Utrecht for my studies I was really missing the animal connection so decided to offer my services here the way I did back home. Considering my years of experience, I am confident in my ability to keep your pooch happy, healthy and entertained - both during a long walk in the park or snuggling up on the couch.

I also have experience caring for cats, so rest assured your feline friends will be in good hands too. I will take care of your pet as if it was one of my own.&nbsp;

Ik ben Maritsa van Oord, 20 jaar oud. Ik werk momenteel alleen als oppas voor dieren en kinderen momenteel ben ik vaste oppas bij honden, baardagame, kippen en katten. Ik studeer in Geldermalsen op yuverta. Ik doe daar de dier en gedrag opleiding. Deze opleiding heb ik gekozen omdat ik graag meer wil leren over dieren en er meer mee wil doen. Mijn motivatie als oppas is dat ik heel graag rondom dieren ben, het maakt me gelukkig en ik vind het heel intressant om meer te leren over de dieren en het gedrag van dieren nog beter te leren. Ik heb al ervaring met dieren(oppas), zelf heb ik 11&nbsp;reptielen, 15&nbsp;vogels (agapronissen, grasparkieten, valkparkieten en halsbandparkieten) en ik heb ook 1 hamster, schildpadden en vissen gehad. Ook heb ik ervaring met dieren in het asiel, ik heb hier 2 jaar stage gelopen. Ik heb ook 2 jaar in verschillende dierenwinkels stage gelopen en heb gewerkt bij de ranzijn (intratuin met dieren) . Al 2 jaar laat ik verschillende honden uit van husky`s en boomers, tot aan pitbulls en herders. Ik pas ook regelmatig op de katten&nbsp;in de omgeving.

&nbsp;-  honden uitlaat, we gaan dan lekker wandelen door de stad, in de bossen of in een parkje. Ik zou minimaal een half uurtje met uw hond wandelen maar ook spelen en trainen zijn mogelijk.
- Ik doe huisbezoeken bij het baasje en dier thuis, dit kan in de ochtend, middag en/of avond zijn. Dit gaat allemaal in overleg ivm school en andere afspraken, huisbezoeken varieren van 30 minuten tot 1,5 uur. Dit ligt aan de aantal dieren en de aantal taken. bezoeken kunnen ook meerdere per dag!
- oppas bij baasje thuis, dit moet ik goed overleg met tijden en dagen. Zelf heb ik school waar ik rekening mee moet houden, oppassen doe ik alleen bij baasje omdat onze dieren thuis onrustig worden van andere dieren. Oppassen kan in ochtend, middag of avond (de hele dag kan als dat ook bij mij uitkomt)
Ik heb veel ervaring met reptielen, dit heeft niet iedereen natuurlijk. Zelf heb ik 1 baardagaam, 6 luipaardgekkos en 4 wimpergekko. Waardoor ik al wat ervaring heb, daarnaast heb ik veel ervaring omdat ik op school ook hiermee leer. Op school ben ik veel bezig met slangen, baardagamen, schildhagedissen, schildpadden en zeilagameb. Hier geef ik eten, verschoon ik hokken, bapaal ik geslacht en hanteer ik de dieren indien gewenst

Hi, thanks for checking my profile!  My name is Rebecca, and I absolutely love dogs. I grew up with dogs around me, and for the majority of my life had a dog of my own (a Golden Retriever called Lena). Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Netherlands four years ago to study at University. Although I would love to have a dog of my own again, I don't have enough financial stability for that just yet - thus dog sitting is a great solution for me!  I feel super comfortable around all dogs, big or small, male or female. I am also okay with giving medicine if needed, and would love to try and teach some tricks if you want!  I offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting, doggy daycare, and home dog boarding... I am generally just happy to be around those four-legged energy bundles. Next to that, it's a great way to stay active :-) Below some more information on each service:  Dog walking: I live only a street away from the Catharijnesingel, where it is great to go on walks with dogs! Walking times would range from 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the needs of your dog. Depending on where you live, I am happy to take your dog on walks in their known environment, or explore new areas with them. What is important to me is to align well with you and your dogs needs, and adjust accordingly. I offer one long walk or one to two short walks per day.Home visits: From the centre of Utrecht I can reach most neighbourhoods with a breezy 10 min cycle. On a typical home visit, I would stay between 30 min to 1 hour, where I make sure your pet is in a clean environment, has enough to drink, give food if required, and take your dog(s) outisde to the toilet. Next to that I am happy to spend time playing with your pet, and check that the house is alright (mail, garbage, windows closed, etc.).House sitting: During a house sit I stay at your house while you are gone and make sure your house and your pet(s) are well taken care of. Next to the services of house visits, I would also take your dog(s) on a long walk or two shorter ones (depending on what we agree on). I will make sure your house is clean and not leave the pets alone for more than 3 hours - and of course send daily (photo) updates of your furry friend to you :-). Doggy daycare: I live in an apartment in the city centre where pets are more than welcome! Your dog will be free to move around in my flat, and I will make sure it is safe for them to do so (i.e. nothing to hurt them or that they could ingest). Next to feeding and playing with them, I will take your dog on walks as needed, either (multiple) shorter ones of 30 min or longer ones of 1-2 hours. I live with one roommate who is also happy to be around dogs, but their care will be fully in my hands. We have no pets of our own. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Home dog boarding: Next to the services of doggy daycare, I will make sure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep where they feel safe. I will make sure that they are not left alone for more than 3 hours, and have enough to eat, drink, play - overall that they have a great time with me! I only board one dog or one "household" of 1-2 dogs at the same time, to make sure I have enough time and attention for them. Cats: Unfortunately I am slightly allergic to cats, which means that I can be around them for house visits and sitting, but cannot host them in my own apartment. Note on my own apartment: I live on the first floor, and the entry stairs are fairly steep - see the photo gallery. If your dog is small I am happy to carry them up and down, but if you have a larger dog they need to be able to walk up and down the stairs themselves.  I am currently doing a Master study in Sustainable Business & Innovation at the UU. Next to being passionate about dogs, I enjoy photography and filmmaking, drawing, sewing, and I am currently learning to rollerskate (it's a slow but steady progress). :-)  As a person, you will usually see me smiling from ear to ear. Hallo!Ik ben Aileen en ben een grote dierenliefhebber. Ik werk in de jeugdzorg en heb daardoor onregelmatige werktijden. Ik heb daardoor veel vrije tijd waarin het mij heerlijk lijkt om met een hond te wandelen of om thuis even langs te komen om hem of haar te verzorgen. Het is voor mij echt gewoon een hobby, om zo mensen uit de brand te helpen, te ontspannen met de dieren en een klein zakcentje bij te verdienen. Het werkt ontzettend rustgevend om met een hond de natuur in te gaan.Ik heb zelf bij mijn ouders de kat die op de foto staat. Verder houd ik ontzettend van honden en zij van mij. Helaas heb ik zelf nog geen hond maar dat is wel een droom van mij. Ik heb altijd een Duitse herder of nova scotia duck tolling retriever gewild. Zodra het kan, neem ik zeker mijn eigen hond!Verder over mijzelf: Ik ben afgestudeerd als Orthopedagoog bij Universiteit Utrecht. Ik ben momenteel werkzaam als pedagogisch medewerker. Hierbij werk ik met jongeren die gedragsproblemen vertonen.Ondanks dat ik misschien niet super veel ervaring heb, ben ik een zeer betrouwbaar persoon die veel liefde te geven heeft aan uw hond of kat.Ik hoop u en uw huisdier snel te zien!
