Slightly Longer About Me:
I'm a student at the UvA, from Poland, living in the centre of Haarlem. There's always been a pet (or pets) in my home and in my life until my last dog passed away and I moved to the Netherlands for my studies. I miss animals dearly, so taking care of yours will be a pleasure.&nbsp;
I have experience with cats, dogs, rodents (and can probably figure out fish); both long- and short-term. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter back in Poland (Ciapkowo) where I went through training. I can deal with very difficult dogs (stubborn, running away, aggressive towards other dogs or people). My own, late husky that I adopted from that shelter was most likely traumatized and it took years for her to learn to not be scared of everybody. With the support of an animal behaviorist, she went from biting every hand that went a little too close and refusing to look at anybody talking to her, to doing tricks, walking with no leash and loving belly rubs.

I can administer medication orally, change bandages and do dog training from complete beginner (sit, stay, lay down, give paw) to intermediate-advanced (touch this with your nose, bring this, left vs. right paw).
I live with a lovely cat, who doesn't mind other pets.
I could already have a pet staying at my house when you contact me (max. 3). I'll notify you about this in case your pet doesn't get along well with other animals.
I do at least three walks per day, each at least 15-20 mins, but of course this can be more, or less, according to your dog's needs.&nbsp;
Since I'm a student that just started their summer vacation, I have a lot of free time I want to use for pet-stitting. I work (part-time) mostly from my house, which isn't too big, so even while I'm not spending dedicated time with your pet, I will be able to supervise them 24/7. If I have to leave the house, I'll take them with me on a bonus walk.
I live with my girlfriend (who also loves animals) in a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor. We unfortunately don't have a backyard, but furry guests are allowed to go wherever they want and no couch or bed is off-limits.

Mijn naam is Jennifer, ik ben 20 jaar. Ik woon samen met mijn ouders in Zoeterwoude-rijndijk. Ik ben afgestudeerd met de diploma: dier en management niveau 4. Mijn liefde voor honden is begonnen toen ik was geboren, heel mijn leven heb ik al honden gehad. Zelf heb ik nu 3 honden, 3 katten en een baardagaam. Tijd doorbrengen met dankbare viervoeters is wat ik het liefst doe! 
Voor mijn opleiding heb ik 6 weken stage gelopen bij een asiel in Spanje en daar heb ik ook een hond van meegenomen naar huis die 3 jaar geen liefdevol huisje heeft gehad. Op mijn stage heb ik veel geleerd over honden en hun gedrag. 
Op dit moment ben ik hondenverzorger bij een dierenhotel, ik heb het hier heel erg naar mijn zin. Ik zou wel graag nog willen oppassen naast mijn baan van 30 uur per week.

I have most experience with dogs, having lived with various, often demanding breeds such as: amstaff, dogo argentino, shar pei, husky. 21 jaar en studeer aan de universiteit Leiden. Ik zit momenteel in mijn derde jaar van de studie. Daarnaast zit ik nog bij de studentenroeivereniging Asopos. Ik kom uit drenthe maar zit op kamers in Leiden. Ik hou heel erg van honden en mis mijn eigen hond. Thuis hebben we namelijk altijd honden gehad dus ervaring heb ik wel, echter waren dat wel alleen berner sennen honden. We hadden eerst twee honden, moeder en dochter en de moeder had twee nestjes gehad. Nadat ze allebei waren overleden besloten we om nog een puppy te kopen, omdat we niet zonder hond konden. Dit werd weer een berner sennen gezien ze zulke schatjes zijn, maar dit keer een reutje genaamd Denzel. Een paar jaar geleden kwam ook het hondje van opa en oma bij ons wonen, hij was al best wel op leeftijd en is afgelopen jaar overleden. Denzel is wel nog steeds onder ons, maar omdat ik soms 1 à 2 maand niet thuis kom en vervolgens alleen een weekendje naar huis ga, zou ik het leuk vinden om wat hondenvriendjes in Leiden te hebben waar ik op kan passen. Ik vind het zeer leuk om lekker te wandelen met de hond of gewoon thuis gezelschap houden vind ik ook helemaal niet erg.


Hello, my name is Yigit and I'm from Turkey. I'm 21 and I'm currently a psychology student in Leiden. Back in Istanbul, Turkey, I have 2 pets: a cat and a dog. So, besides my love and care for animals/pets in general, I am experienced in taking care of them. I don't have my pets here in my apartment in Leiden but I used to walk my dog, clean my cat's litter box, feed them and play with them for the last 5 years.
My services include daycare (either at my place or yours depending on your preference) and walking, feeding your pets. My biggest motivation would be that I really love pets and enjoy spending time with them and I'll also be able to earn a little extra money by doing it in Leiden. My dog walks usually take about 30-45 minutes. I can offer up to 3 dog walks a day.I am accustomed to taking care of mainly cats and dogs but it's totally fine for me if I were to look after your bird, turtle, ferret etc. unless they have very special needs that I don't know much about.In other words, I love pets and taking care of them while earning a little money is a great opportunity for me and I think I can spare enough time for this especially on this quarter of my studies in Leiden. Since I'm currently a student, my schedule can vary depending on the academic block I'm in. My current block is quite flexible where I have 4 days in total off in a week so I should be able to spend a good amount of time with your pets. The flat I live in, which I can host your pets, is comfortably large enough for pets. I have a flatmate in another room and there are no pets in my flat. Guest pets can sleep either on the couch I have in my room or my bed. Outside my apartment, there is a large area with lots of grass and space that the pets will enjoy. It is also fully fenced and secure.

I love dogs and I live close to the beach (Katwijk aan zee). I can bring your dog for a nice walk to the dunes. Just sitting in my garden is also fine of course. Or I can drive to your place and visit your dog by your house, and have a walk to his/her favorite park.
