Hey! I am Violaine and I am 27. I am a French girl who lives in Rotterdam for 5 years now. I am working in the Netherlands as a graphic designer and illustrator (freelance). Ik spreek ook Nederlands maar het is makkelijker voor mij om in het Engels te schrijven. 
I love to be surrounded by nature and parks and my appartement is located near Kralingse park, I have a lot of green areas around me which allows me to have nice and inspiring walks.
I was raised with animals in France, my house was always full of love because I had the chance to have 3 cats, a dog (yorkshire), 2 chinchillas, 2 hamsters, 5 turtles and 2 cats. My life is dedicated to animals, I am part of several associations here like four paws and WWF. I used to help in a shelter when living in France and I really enjoyed being close to the dogs and cats to give them love and bring them hope.
I don’t have now my cats around and I miss them that’s the reason why I want to be a dog/cat sitter. I am now a freelance graphic designer which means I work from home and have more time during my days, it also means I have the freedom to organize my days as I want.
I obviously need company and go outside that's why taking care of animals is a really nice hobby and solution for me. I can walk your dog from 30 minutes to an hour and if needed multiple times during the day. I love walking and get some fresh air even more when it’s with the sweet company of a dog. I can work from your house to look after your pet for a whole working day or a half working day but I only accept to sleep to your place for a maximum of 3 nights in the area of Rotterdam.
I want to make some time as well to play and or course feed your pet when necessary. I had a small internship as a veterinary (pet doctor) so I know how to recognize if a pet is not okay.
I only offer home garderie for small dogs (yorkshire, chihuahua, teckel, caniche…) and accept only one dog per day. I am working at home the whole and live near Prinselaan park so I can walk the dog 3 times during the day for 30 minutes each walk. Of course I will also make some time to play with your dog. The dog can be brought on morning (after 8h30) and can be picked up on the evening (at max 20h00). I have a big living room where a little bed for him can be installed with toys!
I am calm, attentive and talkative (yes I love to talk to my cat!)

I’ve grown up with pet dogs since a young age and have experience will all kinds of breeds. I live with my girlfriend in Rotterdam and we both have jobs that allow us to work from home so we can ensure someone is always attending to your pet's needs.
Knowing how to handle and care for dogs of all sizes and energy levels your dog / puppy is safe with me and their walking and activity needs will be met. My girlfriend and I are very caring and good at reading a dogs signals through our experiences.
Go for walks 3x daily before work, after work and one before bed time. I'll make sure their energy and bathroom needs are met. On days possible I will take them to the local dog park if it's the wish of the owner where they can be loose safely and play catch if they like.
At home they’ll get plenty cuddles and scratches and if they have their favourite toy I’ll make sure to keep them active with it when I can
We live in a pet-friendly apartment building on the Maas, we will walk along the river and there is plenty of grass for your pet to do it's business. Your dog is free to join us on the couch for cuddles but best assure they will get all the attention they need.

I consider myself a pet person (cats, dogs, iguanas, guinea pigs, and hamsters), I am used to being around animals as I grew up with all types of pets. I can manage to be around them and adjust to their needs and personalities.
The services that I can provide for your pets are varied and it will depend on who I will be taking care of...with cats I can give medicines, cuddle, bathe and trim nails (if requested), and walk them (one of my cats loved to go out on walks), but overall love and respect their personalities and needs. With dogs, I can walk them, play with them, have a lot of patience, give them medicine, feed them, and also lots of cuddles and love. With rodents, feed them and cuddle :). And, with reptiles, feed them and water them if needed. In general, I will provide my full attention for the time I’m with your fur babies, for I am, myself a pet lover and a pet parent.
For Doggy Day Care and Boarding, we have a Cat in the house, and for that matter, we mostly host Dogs (and not cats...); but we do ask for a previous meeting to see how the animals react together and if the house is a good fit for your pets' needs.
