"Alina was exactly the person I had been looking for! ❤️ My cats absolutely fell in love with her, and I felt so comfortable and at ease while I was away on my trip. Everything felt well-organized, smooth, and taken care of, and for once, I didn’t have to worry about my babies even for a second. 🐾🥹
I’m so happy I met Alina. She gave me complete peace of mind, and I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. I would absolutely ask her to look after my cats again next time, without a doubt. I highly recommend her! ❤️"

"I was really happy with Zhenia!
One of my cats is often scared of catsitters, but with Zhenia, he was at ease from day one. She is a kind person and I could tell that she is genuinely fond of cats.
She took perfect care of my cats, communicated clearly, and always replied quickly. I came home to a clean house with two happy cats. "

"We couldn’t be more happy with Liv as our housesitter. Her reviews from other platforms are all very true! She took excellent care of both our house and our cats, we recieved lots of cute pictures and updates and it felt more like a friend stayed in our house then a stranger. We left our house clean and she returned us the favour. 10/10 recommended. "

"I cannot recommend Marie highly enough! From the moment she arrived, it was evident that she has a true passion for caring for animals. Our senior dog, who is usually very timid around strangers, felt an immediate sense of comfort and security with her—a remarkable achievement that we had never experienced before.
Marie’s gentle and patient approach was truly impressive. She took the time to understand our dog's unique needs, which helped our pup relax and even seek affection—something we've only dreamt of. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that reassured us our beloved pet was in excellent hands.
When we returned home, we were thrilled to find our house in impeccable condition. Marie's attention to cleanliness and detail did not go unnoticed, and we genuinely appreciated her respect for our space.
Overall, our experience with Marie exceeded our expectations. She is compassionate, professional, and reliable. We are so grateful to have found someone who cares for our dog with such kindness. We will absolutely be using Marie’s services again and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a caring pet sitter. Thank you, Marie, for making this experience exceptional for both us and our furry family member!! "

"Stas is a fantastic petsitter. He is very kind and reliable. He took great care of my two cats, even though they are a bit demanding: when they didn't want to eat the first day, he was calm and patient and they started trusting him. He also looked after my house and plants. Stas communicates pleasantly and quickly, and sent occasional photos so I knew everything was OK. You can really trust him with your pets. "SReview by Sterre

"Yann was fantastisch 🤩
Yann gaan we zonder enige twijfel weer vragen.
Dank je wel Yann 🙏👍"

"This was the first time we’ve used a house sitting service on Pawshake. We wanted to ensure the pets had regular company and not just for 10-15 mins twice a day.
Seyda was great. She kept in regular contact with us, sending photos and videos of the pets. All in all, good experience. Would definitely book Seyda again."

"Of all the dogsitters I have had over several years, Julia's exceptional care stands out the most. I had last minute travel plans and could not bring my two senior chihuahuas, one which has extreme separation anxiety and was already exhibiting high levels of stress when I left. Julia met with me the day prior, repeated every detail back to me, followed all the instructions, marked my spreadsheet indicating that all walks/medications/feedings were given and communicated quickly with two other sitters to cover the gaps when she needed to step out so that the anxious dog was not left alone. She has been exceptional, and I say that again because she was very professional, polite, warm, welcoming, attentive, and responsive. Being provided with updates with photos and seeing the group chat for coverage active and engaged while away allowed me to focus on family. I returned home to a clean home and happy relaxed dogs. Cannot thank her enough. Julia is #1 in my book. "

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Amsterdam home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Amsterdam.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Amsterdam home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
Pet owners book house sitting in Amsterdam on Pawshake. Over 5227 pet owners in Amsterdam have left a review, with an average of 4.97/5. All paid safely using Ideal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
