"Bruna was amazing with our cat salsa! We were able to totally relax on our 2 week holiday while she stayed with salsa. She sent daily updates and salsa was so happy and safe with her which gave us so much peace of mind🩷 when we returned from our holiday our house was super clean also. Will for sure have Bruna to mind salsa again and would 100% recommend "

"Penelope was a fantastic pet and housesitter while we were away. She communicated with us quickly, effectively, and professionally, and was very pleasant to work with. She took excellent care of our dog, and sent just-frequent-enough updates to reassure us that all was going well. She was also a very respectful housesitter. We came home to a clean house, and she even started the sheets in the laundry before she left. I would absolutely recommend Penelope to anyone!"

"We couldn’t be more happy with Liv as our housesitter. Her reviews from other platforms are all very true! She took excellent care of both our house and our cats, we recieved lots of cute pictures and updates and it felt more like a friend stayed in our house then a stranger. We left our house clean and she returned us the favour. 10/10 recommended. "

"Débora is a superstar! it was our 1st time using Pawshake and we were really nervous. She is fantastic on every level - professional, conscientious, great communicator and sent us vids and pics everyday. Our doggo and cat took to her from the moment they met her. Débora, without a doubt, will be our furbaby friend & housesitter for any future trips we take. "

"I wish I could keep Ariel my own secret, so she remains available for Mimi forever. Ariel is just the best dogsitter - sending pics and updates on walks, poops and snuggles; the best guest in my house - I'm pretty sure it was cleaner when I got back; and in general the best person - super communicative, kind and patient. I'm actually jealous of my dog for getting to spend 9 days with her ^____^"

"Of all the dogsitters I have had over several years, Julia's exceptional care stands out the most. I had last minute travel plans and could not bring my two senior chihuahuas, one which has extreme separation anxiety and was already exhibiting high levels of stress when I left. Julia met with me the day prior, repeated every detail back to me, followed all the instructions, marked my spreadsheet indicating that all walks/medications/feedings were given and communicated quickly with two other sitters to cover the gaps when she needed to step out so that the anxious dog was not left alone. She has been exceptional, and I say that again because she was very professional, polite, warm, welcoming, attentive, and responsive. Being provided with updates with photos and seeing the group chat for coverage active and engaged while away allowed me to focus on family. I returned home to a clean home and happy relaxed dogs. Cannot thank her enough. Julia is #1 in my book. "

"Ghenwa recently cared for our cats, Romeu and Cassy, during our three-week holiday in Amsterdam, and we couldn't be more pleased.
Ghenwa's has genuine passion for cats, she sent regular updates and adorable photos to keep us connected and reassured. She not only looked after our cats but also took the initiative to water our plants, leaving our home in very good order.
In short, we highly recommend Ghenwa as a pet sitter. Her dedication, communication skills, and overall care make her an excelent choice.
Thanks, Ghenwa, for a worry-free experience!"

"Brigitte is a real star, Cooper loved spending time with her and her boyfriend. They stayed three weeks with him, giving him lots of attention and walks - really going the extra mile. She’s very responsive and clear in her communication. Definitely looking forward to book her again in the future, and a warm recommendation for anyone else who’s looking for a caring pet sitter. "

"Emy took care of our dog and cat in our house for almost a week. She was very kind to them always, really making an effort to keep their routines the same, even in her busy schedule. She is also a great communicator, always letting us know what the culprits are up to or with instant replies to our questions. We’d vouch for her in a heartbeat:)"

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Amsterdam home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Amsterdam.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Amsterdam home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
Pet owners book house sitting in Amsterdam on Pawshake. Over 5211 pet owners in Amsterdam have left a review, with an average of 4.97/5. All paid safely using Ideal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express
