Sam en zijn vrouw zijn echt een absolute aanrader! Onze andere oppas zegde de avond voor onze vakantie onverwachts af, waardoor we last minute op zoek moesten naar iemand die 1,5 week op onze hond Beau kon passen. Sam reageerde diezelfde avond nog, wat op zo’n stressvol moment ontzettend fijn was. De volgende ochtend konden we meteen langskomen om kennis te maken en te kijken hoe het met Beau ging. Dat voelde direct goed en gelukkig konden we Beau daarna ook meteen bij hen achterlaten.
Tijdens onze vakantie kregen we iedere dag foto’s, filmpjes en updates. Dat vonden we ontzettend fijn en zo konden we ook echt zien dat Beau het enorm naar zijn zin had. Sam en zijn vrouw hebben drie kinderen die Beau ontzettend veel liefde en aandacht hebben gegeven. Hij werd iedere dag goed uitgelaten en was duidelijk echt onderdeel van het gezin.
Toen we Beau weer ophaalden, was hij blij, ontspannen én heerlijk schoon — met een doodle is dat zeker niet altijd vanzelfsprekend na een logeerpartij! 😊
We zijn ontzettend blij dat we Sam en zijn gezin zo last minute hebben gevonden. Het is een heel fijn en vertrouwd adres waar we Beau met een gerust hart achterlaten. Wij zullen Sam dan ook zeker blijven vragen voor toekomstige logeerpartijen. Absoluut een aanrader!
Sam and his wife are absolutely wonderful and we couldn’t recommend them enough! Our original dog sitter unexpectedly cancelled the evening before our holiday, so we suddenly had to find someone last minute to look after our dog Beau for a week and a half. Sam responded that same evening, which was such a relief in a stressful situation. The next morning, we were able to come by straight away to meet them and see how Beau got along with everyone. It immediately felt right, and we felt completely comfortable leaving Beau with them afterwards.

Throughout our holiday, we received photos, videos and updates every single day, which we really appreciated. It was lovely to see how much Beau was enjoying himself. Sam and his wife have three children who also gave Beau lots of love and attention. He was taken out for walks every day and clearly became part of the family during his stay.
When we picked Beau up, he was happy, relaxed and wonderfully clean — something that’s definitely not always a given with a doodle after a stay away! 😊
We’re so happy we found Sam and his family, especially at such short notice. They provide such a warm and trustworthy home where we feel completely comfortable leaving Beau. We will definitely continue asking Sam for future stays. Highly recommended!"

"Drie weken je katten ergens anders onderbrengen is geen kleine beslissing. Zeker niet in een periode waarin je hoofd al vol zit vanwege een verhuizing.
Voor Milo en Mila zochten we geen “opvang”, maar een plek waar ze écht gezien worden. Rust, aandacht, veiligheid. Dat vonden we bij Margreet.
Vanaf het eerste contact voelde het zorgvuldig en betrokken. Geen haast, geen standaardverhaal, maar oprechte interesse in wie Milo en Mila zijn en wat zij nodig hebben. Tijdens de drie weken kregen we regelmatig updates, wat zichtbaar maakte dat ze niet alleen goed verzorgd werden, maar zich ook op hun gemak voelden.
Wat voor mij het verschil maakt: Margreet werkt niet op de automatische piloot. Ze kijkt, stemt af en neemt verantwoordelijkheid. Daardoor konden wij ons volledig richten op onze verhuizing, zonder onderliggende onrust over hoe het met de katten ging.
Milo en Mila kwamen ontspannen terug. Dat zegt alles.

"I left my dog Zaya for the first time with Sandya and Vicky for 8 days straight and everything was great! They are reliable, know how to treat a dog and they keep you updated with the dog's daily activities. Zaya was so relaxed and happy around them and I felt at ease knowing my dog was in good care. "Ana looked after our dog Tofu for a week, and we were so happy with her care. Her experience and calm approach made us feel comfortable from the start. She took the time for a thoughtful meet-and-greet, getting to know Tofu and her needs before our holiday.
Communication was great both beforehand and while we were away. It was lovely to know Tofu was in such caring hands, which really helped us relax and enjoy our holiday.

"We wish we could give more than 5 stars, Shun is the best dogsitter we could have hoped for!
From the first contact all the way to pick-up after our vavation Shun was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.
During our trip we received many messages, pictures and videos updating us about how GuoGuo was doing and it was clear to see that she was being cared for very well. Shun went above and beyond expectations, even cooking fresh food for our little furball and letting us know how and what GuoGuo was eating, including what brands of food he was using!
All in all, we feel very fortunate to have found Shun on Pawshake and could go on our trip with peace of mind, knowing that GuoGuo was in safe hands.
We highly recommend Shun and would absolutely contact him again if we need someone to look after our dog for a while.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my Bully during these three weeks.
Fê was kind, caring, dedicated, helpful, and incredibly attentive every single day. She was also very flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything so much easier.
These three weeks were especially emotional for me because it was the first time I had ever been apart from Bully, and it wasn't easy. Fê understood that from the very beginning and was amazing about sending me daily photos and videos, which made all the difference and really helped ease my worries and how much I missed him.
Bully has chronic dermatitis, which means his daily routine is much more demanding than usual: cleaning his paws and face with wipes several times a day, giving him medication and supplements, and following a strict skincare routine. Fê took on all of this with incredible dedication and never once made it feel like a burden.
And the best part?
Bully came home with his skin looking even better than when I left him. ❤️
Her dedication, love, and care are truly priceless. I genuinely felt that my Bully was in the best hands possible, and that means everything to me.
Fê will be our petsitter forever🥰
