Hi! My name is Aleks, I'm 27yo and I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, including dogs, cats and a bunny. I've lived in Leiden for a while now but unfortunately I can't own any pets in my apartment and I really miss it! As such, I'd love to take care of other people's pets and give them all the attention they want while you're busy with work or away for holiday.
I have most experience with dogs, having lived with various, often demanding breeds such as: amstaff, dogo argentino, shar pei, husky. As such, I've interacted with pets with various temperaments and attitude towards (especially strange) people, and I approach the animal with patience and understanding, giving them space to feel safe and at ease.
My services:
Pet walks: I'll walk your dog for short or (very) long walks, play with them, or just do a route of your choice. I can adhere to and support you any training you're giving your pet (learning to walk properly on the leash, learning to interact with other animals).
Pet sitting: l can pet sit in your house, play with them, take them for a walk, take care of their feeding or medication. I can usually stay there as little or as long as you need!
I have previous experience pet sitting for dogs of various sizes and ages (from a small puppy to an adult husky), as well as some experience pet sitting for cats. My proudest achievement is helping a puppy deal with his social anxiety towards people and other dogs, which improved after his stay with me :) I'd love to visit your pet and take of them while you can't do it yourself!


Hoi, ik ben Mehdi, 27 jaar en woon in Oegstgeest waar ik ook ben opgegroeid. Inmiddels ben ik afgestudeerd, maak ik kunst en ben ik werkzaam in de uitvaartbranche.
Altijd al geniet ik van dieren om mij heen. Het mooiste vind ik om mijn energie af te stemmen op die van hen waardoor zij zich op hun gemak voelen. Mijn rustige en meditatieve karakter helpt daarbij. Verder ben ik zorgzaam en oplettend.
Ik heb een tijdje in het dierenasiel gewerkt, waarbij ik geleerd heb om om te gaan met angstige dieren en de verscheidenheid aan karakters. Daarnaast heb ik de afgelopen periode met veel plezier opgepast bij mensen thuis. Het lijkt me leuk om dit ook in mijn eigen omgeving te doen. Ik heb ervaring met katten, honden, vissen, gevogelte en knaagdieren. Daarbij sta ik altijd open voor voor mij nog onbekende dieren zoals bijvoorbeeld reptielen.
Graag stel ik mij beschikbaar voor: huisbezoeken, het uitlaten van honden en oppas aan huis met overnachting. De tijden hiervoor zijn flexibel van 's ochtends tot 's avonds, afhankelijk van wat de dieren gewend zijn.Bij een bezoek aan huis zal ik de dieren verzorgen (voeren, water geven, kattenbak legen), waarbij ik zal controleren of alles goed met ze gaat. Daarbij is tijd om lekker met ze de knuffelen en spelen. Naast deze zorg kan ik ook eventueel planten water geven, gordijnen open en sluiten of post verzamelen. Gemiddeld ben ik een uur aanwezig, maar dit is natuurlijk afhankelijk van de situatie. Ik vertrek pas als ik alles in goede orde achter kan laten.Het uitlaten van honden zal rond de 30min tot een uur zijn. Dit hangt af van de behoeft van de hond en kunnen we verder bespreken. Tijdens het oppassen aan huis zal ik meegaan met het ritme van de dieren, waarbij ze goed verzorgt worden en alle aandacht krijgen. Verder zal ik ervoor zorgen dat het huis er bewoond en netjes uitziet. Denk hierbij aan planten water geven, post verzamelen, schoonmaken en de tuin water geven/bijhouden. Voor deze periode zal ik eerst een keer langskomen om kennis te maken met de dieren, te bespreken wat ze gewend zijn en wat verder gewenst is in en rondom het huis.

Hi ik ben Noraly.
21 jaar en studeer aan de universiteit Leiden. Ik zit momenteel in mijn derde jaar van de studie. Daarnaast zit ik nog bij de studentenroeivereniging Asopos. Ik kom uit drenthe maar zit op kamers in Leiden. Ik hou heel erg van honden en mis mijn eigen hond. Thuis hebben we namelijk altijd honden gehad dus ervaring heb ik wel, echter waren dat wel alleen berner sennen honden. We hadden eerst twee honden, moeder en dochter en de moeder had twee nestjes gehad. Nadat ze allebei waren overleden besloten we om nog een puppy te kopen, omdat we niet zonder hond konden. Dit werd weer een berner sennen gezien ze zulke schatjes zijn, maar dit keer een reutje genaamd Denzel. Een paar jaar geleden kwam ook het hondje van opa en oma bij ons wonen, hij was al best wel op leeftijd en is afgelopen jaar overleden. Denzel is wel nog steeds onder ons, maar omdat ik soms 1 à 2 maand niet thuis kom en vervolgens alleen een weekendje naar huis ga, zou ik het leuk vinden om wat hondenvriendjes in Leiden te hebben waar ik op kan passen. Ik vind het zeer leuk om lekker te wandelen met de hond of gewoon thuis gezelschap houden vind ik ook helemaal niet erg.


Hello, my name is Yigit and I'm from Turkey. I'm 21 and I'm currently a psychology student in Leiden. Back in Istanbul, Turkey, I have 2 pets: a cat and a dog. So, besides my love and care for animals/pets in general, I am experienced in taking care of them. I don't have my pets here in my apartment in Leiden but I used to walk my dog, clean my cat's litter box, feed them and play with them for the last 5 years.
My services include daycare (either at my place or yours depending on your preference) and walking, feeding your pets. My biggest motivation would be that I really love pets and enjoy spending time with them and I'll also be able to earn a little extra money by doing it in Leiden. My dog walks usually take about 30-45 minutes. I can offer up to 3 dog walks a day.I am accustomed to taking care of mainly cats and dogs but it's totally fine for me if I were to look after your bird, turtle, ferret etc. unless they have very special needs that I don't know much about.In other words, I love pets and taking care of them while earning a little money is a great opportunity for me and I think I can spare enough time for this especially on this quarter of my studies in Leiden. Since I'm currently a student, my schedule can vary depending on the academic block I'm in. My current block is quite flexible where I have 4 days in total off in a week so I should be able to spend a good amount of time with your pets. The flat I live in, which I can host your pets, is comfortably large enough for pets. I have a flatmate in another room and there are no pets in my flat. Guest pets can sleep either on the couch I have in my room or my bed. Outside my apartment, there is a large area with lots of grass and space that the pets will enjoy. It is also fully fenced and secure.
