Hi there ! My name is Sam, 25 years old and I'm currently working as a junior research at Expect Jeugd. I was born in the Netherlands, but grew up in Poland and Belgium. The switch of locations made it easier with the dachshund I grew up with - Fuus. I couldn't imagine a childhood without a dog, and I'm grateful for the 17 years we spent together.
I currently live in Rotterdam, and often dogsit my sister's dog (a miniature dachshund called Louie) as well as my brother's dog (a toller). Although I would love to have my own, I currently cannot offer enough stability to own a dog fulltime, which is why I would love to take care of yours in the meantime ! I live in Noord, in an apartment with three floors. We have a rooftop as well as three balconies. 
I love going for long walks and giving cuddles and kisses to dogs. It's my favourite hobby ! I don't have a preference in the type of dog or their age, I love all of them!

Growing up I always had pets around me. Honestly I do not remember a moment from my childhood without animals around. My first interaction with a pet was my mom's Samoyed when I was very little and her 3 little puppies for some time. After that we got our first 2 cats around the time when I was 6. Coming from Istanbul where there are many stray animals, my family and I helped a lot of them and we adopted and helped to adopt cats for my whole life. Currently I we have 4 cats and taking care of the dog in our neighborhood. Dog Boarding: Unfortunately, we can only accommodate cats in our home due to the landlord's policy. I live with my partner in a spacious 90m² apartment that offers plenty of room for cats. My partner mostly works from home, so your pet won’t be alone for more than three hours when I have a lecture. We also have a guest room that your cat can use, but they’re welcome to sleep, play, and relax anywhere they like. We never leave any windows or doors open throughout the day.&nbsp;

As a 20-year-old from Greece, currently in my third year of a bachelor's degree, I’ve found myself missing my dog back home more than ever. Here in the Netherlands, I see dogs everywhere—whether it’s a sunny day or pouring rain, they’re always out with their owners. Every time I see them, I can’t help but think how much I’d love to spend my day in their company, just like I used to with my own dog. Back home, I have a four-year-old French Bulldog who is my pride and joy, and, I must admit, she’s quite spoiled!

Taking care of dogs has always been something I’m passionate about.
