My Experience

Besides my motivation to become a pet sitter, I want to give some information about my experience. I do have a good relationship with the cats by understanding their needs, and sometimes we take care of our friends's cats too when are not at home for a specific period. Furthermore, I want to improve my relationship with dogs as well. Walking with dogs between 20-30 min is going to be a motivational process for me in the beginning. Because of our cats, I do not have a chance to host the dogs at home, however, I can give a home visit service to the community in Zwanenburg.&nbsp;

And over the years, pets (and dogs specifically) have become a huge part of what I consider "home". But since I could not bring my 2-year-old border collie on this adventure, I am searching to help others with their 4-legged family members.&nbsp;

I have extensive experience taking care of, training, and walking dogs. Back at home, I was the main caretaker of my family's border collie for the past 2 years. This involved training and agility classes with him each week, walking him daily for at least 2 hours, and maintaining his fur, nails, and teeth.---
SERVICE INFORMATION:
I am mainly available in the afternoons or in the evenings.For dog walking
I offer 30 minutes of walking your dog for 7€, longer times are welcomed, however they come with increased cost. In general, I will walk your dog in areas surrounding your residence, or you can direct me to a place where you prefer your dog to be walked. I can help you with training, provided you instruct me on your methods and preferred rewards you use. Your dog will always stay on the leash unless you specifically instruct me to let him run free in a specified fenced and safe area.
For home visits
I offer 30 minutes of visiting your dog at your residence for 10€ or longer for an increased price, multiple sessions are available, starting at 18€ per 2 visits a day. I am occasionally available before noon, so check with me for availability. I will engage with your pet for the whole duration of my visit. If your pet is a dog, I will bring him out to go potty. I can train your animal while I visit, provided that instruct me on your methods and preferred rewards you use. If needed, I can do small household chores such as bringing in the mail, watering your plants, or cleaning the litter box if you have a cat (specifics can be negotiated).---

For as long as I can remember, my family has fostered and adopted cats and dogs wherever we lived. My partner and I are constantly missing our baby, Charlie, a white persian cat, who we had to leave back home with my partner's family. The Netherlands has the most complex and illogical procedures for bringing a pet from outside of the EU. I would say my motivation to be a pet sitter would be just that, to be a pet sitter. There is nothing that makes me more happy than witnessing the innocent antics of cats and dogs. Being in their company is my happy place. Having parented and fostered many cats and a few dogs, I would say, yes, I have the experience. I don't mind the scratches and occasional soft bites at all too. Hello everyone! My name is Agathe, I am 28 years old and from Belgium. I speak a bit of Dutch, but mostly English and French. Always have been a dog lover, I have been living with different dogs over the years, through family and flatmates. I enjoy spending time with them and taking care of them. As I work mostly from home, I have a lot of time on my hands during the week and I am available for walks during week days around the Geuzenveld neighbourhood, between 8am and 9pm. Home: I am living in an apartment on a second floor with a balcony and appropriate fence. There is Gebrandy park just in front of the door and Sloterplas lake hundred meters away. 
Services: I am happy to take your dog for a walk on certain days of the week, spend weekend days with it or even dog sit for a couple of days.
If you live nearby, I can also take your dog in the morning. However evening walks are easier for me. Day care is not a problem. I can work from home flexibly, so through the day I will take breaks to play with a dog and go for a walk. If I visit your home, I can also stay there through the day and I am flexible on any other requests, such as bringing in the mail. I treat other homes as mine, therefore I always make sure the doors are locked and everything stays clean. 
I usually go for walks in a park or in nature, where I would spend an hour. If a dog is used to walk and play off leash that is as well not a problem. 
I am a young working professional, looking to have some quality time with your hairy friend. As a family, we had an Irish Wolfhound and now my father got a German Boxer, but they are far away from Amsterdam. I would love to have an opportunity to fill this gap and help other dog owners to make their dog all time happy.
Whole my childhood I was surrounded with animals. I trained each of our dogs that we have and with first one completed the training school for large dogs. For myself, I would say I have a good sense for how dog feels and what is on its mind.

I took care of my friend's German shepherd for 5 years until she moved out of town. I miss being around pets and would love to keep company and care for your fur babies!
We will take long walks through city parks and meet other pups (if you allow/encourage it). Lots of scratching and hugging when we're done with the exercise! As for cats staying at home, as much love and affection will be provided (along with the space they would need depending on their personality) ️

Hi! My name is Moira, I'm half Argentinian and half Italian. I moved to the Netherlands recently but I've lived in Denmark and Germany as well. One of my favourite things it to be out on sunny days but also take a stroll to the forest or green areas any time of the year.

Experience, service and availability
I have 2+ years of experience in taking care of animals - mine and other's. In Buenos Aires I lived with a cat and a dog, which I took care, gave baths to and took for walks. I also sitted for two cats when I lived in Denmark which needed company and to be fed. Most recently I did sittings for two families while I was travelling for holidays as a way to get to know new places and be in furry company at the same time :)

Motivation
My main motivation is that I love pets. I left my most faitful companion, Lupe, in Buenos Aires when I came to Europe (the one on the picture, now living with my parents). My name is Samantha Dai and I am 21 years old. I study Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and have been living in the Netherlands for about 2 years now. I love animals and have been surrounded by them my whole life. Growing up I had one dog and two cats. My love for all animals is remarkable and genuine. I adopted my childhood dog from Mexico and the cats I’ve had growing up have all been stray animals which I’ve taken in or adopted from a shelter. From a young age I would feed stray animals and volunteer at local animal shelters with my school. I have also taken care of family and friends pets which has allowed me to further expand my comprehension of the responsibility and care all pets need. I truly enjoy spending time with all types of pets and for the first time after moving abroad I have found myself not being surrounded by animals. Therefore, I want to continue to help and care for animals whether it be for walks or simply keeping them company.
