Ik heb regelmatig voor vrienden op hun diertjes gepast en luister dan ook graag nog jullie eigen specifieke wensen en rituelen. We're a vibrant student duo (Shuai &amp; Hanyu)Living in the Bijlmer/Ganzenhoef area. Back home, we've both shared our lives with our beloved dogs - as you can see from the pictures. We have always held a profound understanding and love for dogs of all kinds.

Our experiences:
Experience is our forte! We've cooperated with an NGO(WOA) in the US, and fostered many rescue dogs from China. This experience has shaped our skills in handling sensitive and shy pups, giving us invaluable insights into their world. We've walked, played, and laughed with dogs of many sizes and breeds. Recently we decided to take a break from fostering animals and try dog boarding and day care.

Our place:
We live in an 80 sqm flat which has two individual balconies, surrounded by lush greenery, 2 dog-friendly parks, and close to Gaasperplas hiking spots. The Bijlmer/Ganzenhoef area is really the perfect playground for to roam, play, and wag their tails in delight.

Hi we are Meg and Ollie! Meg is a student at the University of Amsterdam studying geography and Ollie is studying economics at Tilburg University! Meg lives in Amsterdam and Ollie visits from Tilburg on the weekends. We are originally from Bristol in the UK ! We are both animal lovers and especially love hanging out with Ollie's dog Poppy who we miss a lot! Because we don't have any pets here, we are a bit lonely and missing the animals in our lives 
Meg loves all animals and volunteered in the UK with 15 donkeys at a small sanctuary near her home for multiple years! We both love going on dog walks and think we are both excellent pet cuddlers! Meg also volunteered as a kitten cuddler at an animal shelter and had a pet rabbit called Lucy who she got when she was only 6 years old As mentioned, Ollie has a pet dog called Poppy who we look after in the UK along with Olive, a sausage dog who belongs to a neighbour! We spend a lot of time walking, and hanging out with both dogs  
We would love to look after some pets and get to know the city even better so we are very happy to house sit for as long as needed and look after your pet but cannot look after pets in Megs home in Amsterdam as it doesn't allow pets. We are available to also water plants and accept deliveries whilst house sitting :) We will be able to walk and hang out with them, as well as carry out any special requests essential to your pets needs!

Ever since I was a child, I've had a natural and profound love and fascination towards nature and all animals. Caring for animals just comes so naturally to me that I've grown so fast as a pet sitter in Amsterdam. So much so that I've decided to dedicate my full-time to being a pet sitter. Over the past 2 years alone, I provided boarding, pet sitting and dog walking for more than 40 different cats and dogs! I've had more than amazing reviews from all pet owners that I've worked with. I also dedicate the time and effort every now and then to take courses and read books about how to understand and better care for pets.

In pet boarding, I welcome the pets and take care of them at my place. I live with my husband, who is as passionate about pets as I am, in a cozy apartment with a big high fenced secure backyard in a safe and calm pet friendly neighborhood in Southeast Amsterdam. We have no kids and one cat. 
My husband works from home as well so pets always have company even if one of us is out. Pets are never left alone for more than 3 hours. We keep our house completely pet proof and we don't give them any human food, only pet food and snacks for their own health and safety.
I introduce the pets gradually to each other using treats and toys to ease any tension. I also love to give the pets full reign of the house. Sometimes they're too scared at first so I give them their own room, leave the door ajar and check on them often until they feel safer to come out and explore in their own time. For their safety, if a pet starts showing aggressive behavior towards the others, it will be separated from the other pets but will continue to have the same love, care and attention from me.
What I provide:

Make sure there's always fresh drinking water for them
Make sure their environment is always clean
Play and cuddle with them
I always keep the owners posted by sending them daily photos and videos of their pets.
For dogs:

I take them out to the backyard for potty breaks every 2 hours.
I let them hang out and play as much as they want in the backyard under my supervision.
For an additional cost, I can also take them for up to a 30 minute walk every day for €3 per walk.

For the health and safety of all pets, owners are required to give their pets antiflea, antitick and deworming medication before the stay.

Pet daycare goes exactly as pet boarding except that: the pet can stay for up to 10 hours a day and they will not be left alone for more than one hour if at all.

In dog walking, I take dogs for up to a one hour walk per day in the afternoons or evenings. I like to make the walk fun by playfully engaging the dog throughout the walk and maybe distract them from anything that might be causing them stress or anxiety.  I do not let dogs off leash unless required by the owner in a safe designated off-leash area of the owner's choice. The owner must provide a proper leash and poop bags.
