It was my case when 8 years ago I adopted Alvin - a ginger Posavac Hound. 
Thanks to this "problematic" dog with long ears, I got into the dogs world. I opened my eyes and stoped to see their perspective. I started to attend trainings, courses and webinars. I took part in the pre-training course for future dogs behaviourists and trainers. I learned about animals communication and gained much experience while coo-working with a dogs trainer to create a base of educational videos for beginners. 
A year ago, I moved to Leiden to study Psychology, unfortunately leaving Alvin in Poland :((. 
As I am missing the contact with my "best friend", I am looking for opportunities to connect with other animals. Long or short walks, training sessions, feeding or just spending time with an animal is an element that is missing in my life.

I absolutely adore animals, I have three cats, KitKat, Oreo and Snickers and a tortoise, Herbie but being away from home means that I really miss them. All of my cats were strays and I had to learn to be patient with them and show them the care and love that they hadn't experienced before. I also had to regularly take care of my cousins dogs and absolutely love spending time with them. Back home, I used to pet sit for family and friends' dogs and cats.&nbsp;
With the free time that I have in between my studies, and that I don't have my cats to look after anymore, I would love to take care of any of your furry friends as much as I can.&nbsp;
I am fluent in English and Afrikaans but my Dutch is improving!

My name is Olga and I moved to The Netherlands a couple of months ago to study psychology. As a child, I was always around animals. Back at home, I used to have a dog named Yogi. He was the most beautiful black schnauzer mini- although he had long legs so he looked more like a medium :) After he passed away I was heartbroken and I have been missing close contact with dogs. Cats are also welcomed, my grandma used to have an orange one with the most chaotic orange cat energy and I adored him. I also have no problem with any other animals. Unfortunately, since I am a student I am not able to take care of my own pet but I will do everything to take care of yours. And also because I'm a student I have a lot of time during the week when I'm not at uni, to go on walks with dogs.
My previous experience is from having a dog and taking care of my grandma's cat and dogs. Also, I have befriended my neighbor's cat and he sometimes comes to visit.
I am free to come to a destination that is in Leiden or towns close by. I have no problem with just going on a simple walk for as long as the dog needs, but on average I would say for about 30-45 minutes.

I always lived with dogs, guinea pigs and parrots and now i have 3 beautiful girls, a dog, a cat and a bunny.&nbsp;Unfortunately i don't speak dutch, always was busy with work. Now i work on two shifts, so once i'm available in the mornings and the other week in the afternoons. Also every two weeks i work on saturday but at night i'm free. If you want to go out on weekend i try to help with your animal as much as possible. If You want me to take your dog for a walk i also will do this. If your dog wants accompany of other dog or wanna play, i can always take my dog so you can be sure your dog will sleep like a baby. She's a husky and is veeery social with other dogs and people. She loves to play with other dogs. If your dog doesn't like other dogs it's not a problem i'll come alone. If you want accompany for your pet at night, i'm available every saturday so you'll free to go out. You can also bring your pet to my house so you can&nbsp; be sure it's in a good hands.&nbsp;I live in apartment with second floor. There's no garden but it's enough space if you wanna leave your pet at my place. If you would like to leave your pet at my place but you're not sure if you can leave it with my dog it's not a problem because my dog have all second floor for herself.When you leave your dog at my home for a day or i will stay at your place i will go out with your dog 3 times. How long the walking will be that only depends on you. You can leave with me also cats and other animals. Everything will be discussed with you.I also live with my partner. We're working at the same place and the same hours. When you leave your pets at my place they won't be alone even for 10 minutes. Mijn naam is Jennifer, ik ben 20 jaar. Ik woon samen met mijn ouders in Zoeterwoude-rijndijk. Ik ben afgestudeerd met de diploma: dier en management niveau 4. Mijn liefde voor honden is begonnen toen ik was geboren, heel mijn leven heb ik al honden gehad. Zelf heb ik nu 3 honden, 3 katten en een baardagaam. Tijd doorbrengen met dankbare viervoeters is wat ik het liefst doe! 
Voor mijn opleiding heb ik 6 weken stage gelopen bij een asiel in Spanje en daar heb ik ook een hond van meegenomen naar huis die 3 jaar geen liefdevol huisje heeft gehad. Op mijn stage heb ik veel geleerd over honden en hun gedrag. 
Op dit moment ben ik hondenverzorger bij een dierenhotel, ik heb het hier heel erg naar mijn zin. Ik zou wel graag nog willen oppassen naast mijn baan van 30 uur per week. 
Mijn doel is om de honden een leuke tijd te geven door of een wandeling of door tijd met hun door te brengen als hun baasje er niet is. En hopelijk vaste vriendjes maken :). Bedankt voor de interesse in mij als hondenoppas! Ik kom graag kennis maken met u en de honden.

Hoi, ik ben Mehdi, 27 jaar en woon in Oegstgeest waar ik ook ben opgegroeid. Inmiddels ben ik afgestudeerd, maak ik kunst en ben ik werkzaam in de uitvaartbranche.
Altijd al geniet ik van dieren om mij heen. Het mooiste vind ik om mijn energie af te stemmen op die van hen waardoor zij zich op hun gemak voelen. Mijn rustige en meditatieve karakter helpt daarbij. Verder ben ik zorgzaam en oplettend.
Ik heb een tijdje in het dierenasiel gewerkt, waarbij ik geleerd heb om om te gaan met angstige dieren en de verscheidenheid aan karakters. Daarnaast heb ik de afgelopen periode met veel plezier opgepast bij mensen thuis. Het lijkt me leuk om dit ook in mijn eigen omgeving te doen. Ik heb ervaring met katten, honden, vissen, gevogelte en knaagdieren. Daarbij sta ik altijd open voor voor mij nog onbekende dieren zoals bijvoorbeeld reptielen.
Graag stel ik mij beschikbaar voor: huisbezoeken, het uitlaten van honden en oppas aan huis met overnachting. De tijden hiervoor zijn flexibel van 's ochtends tot 's avonds, afhankelijk van wat de dieren gewend zijn.Bij een bezoek aan huis zal ik de dieren verzorgen (voeren, water geven, kattenbak legen), waarbij ik zal controleren of alles goed met ze gaat. Daarbij is tijd om lekker met ze de knuffelen en spelen. Naast deze zorg kan ik ook eventueel planten water geven, gordijnen open en sluiten of post verzamelen. Gemiddeld ben ik een uur aanwezig, maar dit is natuurlijk afhankelijk van de situatie. Ik vertrek pas als ik alles in goede orde achter kan laten.Het uitlaten van honden zal rond de 30min tot een uur zijn. Dit hangt af van de behoeft van de hond en kunnen we verder bespreken. Tijdens het oppassen aan huis zal ik meegaan met het ritme van de dieren, waarbij ze goed verzorgt worden en alle aandacht krijgen. Verder zal ik ervoor zorgen dat het huis er bewoond en netjes uitziet. Denk hierbij aan planten water geven, post verzamelen, schoonmaken en de tuin water geven/bijhouden. Voor deze periode zal ik eerst een keer langskomen om kennis te maken met de dieren, te bespreken wat ze gewend zijn en wat verder gewenst is in en rondom het huis.

Hallo, allemaal! Mijn naam is Chris en hierbij wat meer informatie over mij en wat ik aanbied!Ik wil heel graag mensen helpen met hun huisdieren. Hierbij hoort dus voor mij honden uitlaten (15-45min), op huisbezoek voor bijv uw kat of konijn te verzorgen (30-45min) en natuurlijk in die tijd, lekker uw huisdier wat extra aandacht geven! Het liefste blijf ik wel in mijn omgeving voor het verzorgen en uitlaten (omgeving Het Lien, The Mall, rond de Vliet/het sluisje) want die plekken ken ik toch het beste en kom ik het makkelijkst zonder rijbewijs! Hier weet ik precies goede weggetjes om lekker te wandelen met uw hond!&nbsp;Ik ben de meeste dagen wel beschikbaar, met een redelijk makkelijk aan te passen schema, om u en uw huisdieren te helpen! Ik werkte zelf in de paarden dus ben veel bezig geweest met paarden en heb ook verzorgpaarden! Ik heb zelf ook een hondje, een kleine teckel! Ik heb wel al meerdere verschillende honden gehad en uitgelaten (een labrador van ons zelf, een viszla van mijn grootouders, verschillende honden uitgelaten voor mensen in de buurt) en heb wel al vaker huisbezoeken en opgepast op katten van de buren en van m'n zus. Ik vind dit altijd heel leuk! Met dieren werken en tijd spenderen aan dieren is mijn favoriete bezigheid! En als ik dan daarmee andere mensen een dienst kan doen! Is dat al helemaal fijn! Ik kan ook orale medicatie geven aan je huisdier! Ik heb mijn eigen hond verschillende keren orale spuitjes en pilletjes moeten geven, dus heb daar enigszins ervaring mee als het nodig is!Ik ben alleen zelf niet heel groot en sterk, dus hele grote honden of honden die HEEL hard trekken kan ik helaas niet makkelijk mee wandelen. Dan word ik eerder over straat getrokken dan dat ik de hond uitlaat jammer genoeg! Maar voor de rest ben ik een hoop gewend! Puppies, oude hondjes en senioren, los lopen met je hond, gewoon aan de riem, alles kan! Vooral je hond actief houden en aandacht geven, dat is het belangrijkste!Hopelijk heb ik u hiermee genoeg geinformeerd en enthousiast gemaakt over mij en mijn diensten! En ik hoop dat ik eens kennis mag maken met u en uw hond!


Hi ik ben Noraly.
21 jaar en studeer aan de universiteit Leiden. Ik zit momenteel in mijn derde jaar van de studie. Daarnaast zit ik nog bij de studentenroeivereniging Asopos. Ik kom uit drenthe maar zit op kamers in Leiden. Ik hou heel erg van honden en mis mijn eigen hond. Thuis hebben we namelijk altijd honden gehad dus ervaring heb ik wel, echter waren dat wel alleen berner sennen honden. We hadden eerst twee honden, moeder en dochter en de moeder had twee nestjes gehad. Nadat ze allebei waren overleden besloten we om nog een puppy te kopen, omdat we niet zonder hond konden. Dit werd weer een berner sennen gezien ze zulke schatjes zijn, maar dit keer een reutje genaamd Denzel. Een paar jaar geleden kwam ook het hondje van opa en oma bij ons wonen, hij was al best wel op leeftijd en is afgelopen jaar overleden. Denzel is wel nog steeds onder ons, maar omdat ik soms 1 à 2 maand niet thuis kom en vervolgens alleen een weekendje naar huis ga, zou ik het leuk vinden om wat hondenvriendjes in Leiden te hebben waar ik op kan passen. Ik vind het zeer leuk om lekker te wandelen met de hond of gewoon thuis gezelschap houden vind ik ook helemaal niet erg.

So, besides my love and care for animals/pets in general, I am experienced in taking care of them. I don't have my pets here in my apartment in Leiden but I used to walk my dog, clean my cat's litter box, feed them and play with them for the last 5 years.
My services include daycare (either at my place or yours depending on your preference) and walking, feeding your pets. My biggest motivation would be that I really love pets and enjoy spending time with them and I'll also be able to earn a little extra money by doing it in Leiden. My dog walks usually take about 30-45 minutes. I can offer up to 3 dog walks a day.I am accustomed to taking care of mainly cats and dogs but it's totally fine for me if I were to look after your bird, turtle, ferret etc. unless they have very special needs that I don't know much about.In other words, I love pets and taking care of them while earning a little money is a great opportunity for me and I think I can spare enough time for this especially on this quarter of my studies in Leiden. I miss my pets in Istanbul and hopefully I can have a good time with yours here too!
Since I'm currently a student, my schedule can vary depending on the academic block I'm in. My current block is quite flexible where I have 4 days in total off in a week so I should be able to spend a good amount of time with your pets. The flat I live in, which I can host your pets, is comfortably large enough for pets. I have a flatmate in another room and there are no pets in my flat. Guest pets can sleep either on the couch I have in my room or my bed. Outside my apartment, there is a large area with lots of grass and space that the pets will enjoy. It is also fully fenced and secure.
