Hi! Ik ben Daphne! 
Ben jij op zoek naar iemand die met liefde en zorg voor je huisdier zorgt? Dan ben je bij mij aan het juiste adres! Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber van 19 jaar, en ik sta te popelen om jouw trouwe viervoeter de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdient. ️
Zelf heb ik een 11-jarige Amerikaanse bulldog genaamd Roxy, met haar ben ik echt opgegroeid en zo is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Als mede-hondeneigenaar snap ik dus al te goed hoe belangrijk het is dat je beste maatje goed wordt verzorgt en de aandacht en beweging krijgt die hij/zij verdient! Nu Roxy wat ouder is maak ik alleen korte wandelingen met haar, al vind ik het nog ontzettend leuk om langere wandelingen te maken. Jou uithelpen met het uitlaten of oppassen op jouw viervoeter vindt ik daarom erg leuk om te doen :D
Over mij:

Ik studeer sinds september 2022 Diergeneeskunde aan de Universiteit van Antwerpen. 
Al sinds mijn zesde rijd ik paard, en je vindt me vaak in de sportschool!

Mijn Diensten:

Hondenuitlaatservice: Ervaring met verschillende hondenrassen (Jack Russels, Labradors, Berner Sennen, windhonden en meer). Wandelingen duren 60min, langer of korter kan natuurlijk ook op aanvraag 
Oppasservice: Moet je weg? Geen probleem! Ik pas met liefde op je hond bij jou thuis. ️ Helaas kan ik je hond niet bij mij thuis opvangen, maar ik kom met alle liefde op het vertrouwde plekje van jouw huisdier oppassen!&nbsp;
Katten en kleine dieren: Naast honden, verzorg ik ook katten en andere kleine dieren met veel plezier!  Schuwe katten? Geen probleem, ik neem de tijd om ze aan me te laten wennen en geef ze de verzorging die ze nodig hebben. Een huisbezoek duurt bij mij max. 30 minuten.

 Flexibele Beschikbaarheid:Vooral in de weekenden en vakanties ben ik in Maastricht, maar doordeweeks wisselt mijn beschikbaarheid vanwege mijn studie in Antwerpen. Stuur me gerust een berichtje, dan vinden we samen een geschikt moment!

I decided to become a dog sitter because of my profound love for animals, especially dogs. Growing up with my large chocolate Labrador, Bodro, I developed a deep understanding and appreciation for their unique needs and personalities. My experiences with Bodro have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and responsibility when caring for dogs. As an 18-year-old Italian student in my first year of business studies at Maastricht University, I find that dog sitting offers a perfect balance to my academic life. It allows me to engage in a fulfilling activity that brings joy and relaxation, while also providing a valuable service to pet owners. Dog sitting is not just a job for me; it's a passion. I enjoy every moment spent with dogs, from long walks in the park to playful interactions and quiet companionship. Hey there! I'm Luana, a resident of Maastricht for the past five years.
I firmly believe that every dog deserves love, attention, and the opportunity to stretch their legs with a good walk. Yet, I understand that not every pet owner can provide these necessities as often as they'd like due to busy schedules or other commitments.
Having grown up in a household where dogs of all shapes and sizes were cherished members of the family, I have a deep-rooted appreciation for our canine companions. Whether it was the gentle giant nature of a Great Dane or the feisty energy of a toy Pinscher, each dog brought something unique and wonderful into my life.&nbsp;
By offering my services as a pet sitter, I hope to bridge the gap between busy schedules and the pet needs. Whether it's going for leisurely strolls through the park, engaging in playtime, or simply providing companionship, I'm committed to ensuring that every dog in my care feels loved, happy, and fulfilled.&nbsp;
My services includes:
- 1 or 2 times day walking 30-45 minutes, It also depends on the owner's/pet request, so we can find an agreement. I can also bring 2 dogs at a time, if they are small.&nbsp;
- During the dog onboarding of 24 hours, I believe it's good to walk the dog 2/3 times per day: Morning, afternoon and/or evening, the lenght of the walkings can vary depending on the owner/pet needs.
- Medications (only orals, no syringe)
- I accept to take care of small, medium, medium-small size dog only.&nbsp;
- I'm afraid I'm not the best fit for handling dogs with behavioral issues. It takes a special set of skills and experience that I haven't quite mastered yet.&nbsp;
Currently I am working part-time from home, so the pet and I can keep each other company with cuddles and play time :)
I live in an appartment of 120mq in the city center of Maastricht with my boyfriend who loves animals as well, the apartment has a balcony (I've added some picture of the living room on the photo gallery).
I think regardless to have a garden or not, is important to walk the dog, so I usually use to go out with the dogs to let them socialize and have their time outside.

I'm Nándi, I live in Maastricht and I'm currently a student at UCM. 

I've had dogs all my life so it has been quite hard to be without them since I moved here from Hungary. 
That is one of the main reasons why I chose to make a profile on pawshake and become dog sitter. I miss my dog (Csupor) a lot, if I had the possibility, he would be here with me now, but as my apartment does not allow any pets, I had to leave him home with my parents.... because of this rule I also cannot have your dog with me for a night or two, even though I'd absolutely loved to! 
For me I wanted to use this app so I can still have some contact with dogs, to take care of them, walk them, maybe even teach them something new, but most importantly to have fun with them️
That is what I miss most about Csupor, he always could make my days better, happier just by existing and that is such a special gift that only dogs have! 
What I can offer is walking your dog, I can do it daily or as many times a week you want to, but as my schedule changes every 2-3 months due to my courses also changing, I will only be able to keep to a certain timetable for that period. I can still continue walking your dog, but it might have to be at an earlier or later time. I know this is a hustle, but my university unfortunately works this way🥲
I can also visit your dog, if you need me to, usually once a day, but if the scheduling is right I can also do two :)
A visit would mostly mean, changing the water, giving food, playing a little, maybe having some lessons in tricks and things! whatever you and your dog would like 

As for my experience I was around dogs my whole life so for me they are like friends in a way. I have always loved them infinitely :) 
My first dog, who was a bernese mountain dog called Folti, was very easy to take care of. She just knew all the rules by herself and, as she was quite lazy, she never really caused any trouble. Still we loved her so much and, experience-wise I learned how to be with a dog in public. This means everything from walking on/off leash to traveling in cars, trains, metro. Also feeding her, doing the basic dog routine became a staple part of my life since childhood :)
As for my second dog, a Portuguese water dog, it was a whole different story. His name is Csupor and I think he was born crazy! 
But I love him with all my heart even if currently he has to stay with my parents as I moved away. With him I became more of an expert on dog training. I read a couple of book, watched lots of videos and talked to many trainers with different styles of training. So while I am not a trainer I'm quite confident that I can teach the basics of dog training :) I also, again, did all the basics of a dog owner so I am quite experienced in taking care of them. 
Having two dogs with such different characteristics and meeting many throughout my life makes me feel pretty comfortable with taking care of calm, crazy, lazy, or any other type of dog. Just not aggressive as I never had the chance to learn how to control them properly. 
I also worked for a short period as a dog walker with a Pitbull. His name was Sunny and was very easy to take care of. I was his dog walker for about 2 months, I stopped because I moved back home, but I also learned a lot about taking care of pitbulls, who are usually one of the kindest dog breed there is

My name is Aleks, I am 32 years old, living in Maastricht for over 6 years now &amp; I own two beautiful cats myself! 
I am really lucky to live alongside such amazing creatures, whereby our Persian senior Funi (10+ years) and our little younger cat girl Jara (3 years) keep us fascinated on a daily.
Before coming to the Netherlands, I have always lived and experienced animals at close range and at some point I've decided to invite my first cat-friend over into his "forever-home" (Funi). Our bond is unbreakable, and I know for a fact that every cat owner just wants their cat-friends to be taken care of in the best way possible, which I fully respect and therefore quickly adapt to your cat friends' needs.

My name is Farah and I'm a 22 year old student studying psychology. I've been living in Maastricht for 3 years now and absolutely love seeing all the pets around town! Considering I grew up with five different animals including an Alaskan Malamute, two Persian-Turkish angora cats and a British shorthair cat, it's safe to say I can handle any size of dog and/or cat and adapt to the type of care they would need :) I even had a hedgehog! I think it's pretty clear that I absolutely adore animals!
