Hi! My name is Katrina

I have over 6 years of experience caring for pets. My love for animals began when I was a child, and since then I’ve always enjoyed making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

Over the years, I have cared for both dogs and cats, and I also had my own cat back in Georgia. Being a pet owner taught me that pets need much more than food and exercise—they need patience, attention, consistency, and affection. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, so I always adapt my care to their individual needs.

I offer 30-minute or 1-hour dog walks, depending on your preference and your dog’s energy level. During each walk, I make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and time to explore safely. I always provide fresh water, clean up after them, and prioritize their safety.

During home visits, I feed pets, refresh their water, clean litter trays, play with them, and give them lots of attention and affection. I can care for up to two pets at the same time, depending on their personalities and needs.

If I am staying with your pet, my routine includes regular walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, cuddle time (if they enjoy it), and keeping them company throughout the day. I do not leave pets alone for more than 3–4 hours, unless you have requested otherwise.

I am comfortable caring for shy, nervous, or high-energy pets. I always take the time to let nervous animals get to know me at their own pace, and I enjoy keeping energetic dogs active with walks, games, and enrichment.

I am happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and can administer oral medication if clear instructions are provided. If an emergency or unexpected situation arises, I will contact you immediately, follow your instructions, and if necessary, take your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic.

I am based in Gent, and my availability is flexible, including weekdays and weekends with advance notice.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your beloved companion, so I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and happy to send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is safe and happy.
