Hello! My name is James and I offer (for up to 2 dogs at a time if from the same family):

-dog walking (1 hour, up to 3x a day)

-dog boarding (take care of your dog overnight, with two long walks per full day and multiple shorter ones)

-doggy day care (look after your dog for the day, both at my home or at yours, and multiple walks over the day)

-home visits(up to 3x a day, cats and dogs)

For dog walking/ home visits, depending on the distance the biking time there will be included in the hour (so if it's a 10 min bike ride away, total walk/visit time will be 50 mins).

For dog sitting and boarding, I can look after up to 2 dogs from the same family or otherwise just one dog/one separate booking at a time (unless the dog is very sociable) so I can make sure they get all the attention they deserve and that everyone gets along. 

We also have a lovely garden courtyard as well as a losloopgebied both at the front and back (pictured) of our apartment building. The dogs will stay with us in the flat and can either sleep in the living room or kitchen (pictured) or if they get nervous/have separation anxiety, also in our bedroom (a little messy so not pictured).

A little about me: I'm 29 years old and I would love to look after, entertain and keep your dogs happy with walks or dogsitting. I grew up having dogs, and when I left my home in 2019, I unfortunately had to say "see you later!" to our two dogs. Before I left, I was the primary carer for my dogs, responsible for baths, food, water, walks (and runs!). Other than that, I've also volunteered with an animal shelter to help look after dogs (and cats) without a home, making sure they receive the love they deserve.
I really miss the company of dogs and the joy they provide me, which is what motivates me to be a pet sitter. Overall I have more than 20 years experience as a dog walker/carer/friend.
Aside from dogs, I moved to the Netherlands to pursue a master's at UvA, after which I worked at a bank for multiple years. In my free time I like to go bouldering, go for runs, travel and cook different kinds of cuisines. I live with my girlfriend in Amsterdam West, (de Baarjses) so I know the area pretty well.
