I’ve always had a strong connection with animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I had my cat for 15 years, so I understand the level of attention, patience, and love pets need every day. Over the years, I’ve also regularly helped friends with their dogs by walking them, feeding them, keeping them company, and caring for them while their owners were away. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs, including looking after more than one pet at a time in the case of them living together prior. At home, I provide a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods, and I adapt to their individual needs whether they are energetic, older, or more nervous. I take time to help shy or anxious pets feel comfortable, giving them space when needed and building trust at their own pace. My partner, who grew up on a farm and has experience with a wide range of animals, is also around so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. A typical day includes 2–3 walks (for dogs), ranging from 1–2 hours total depending on their needs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any specific instructions. Pets are only left alone for short periods most days if necessary, and I always make sure they are settled and comfortable beforehand. We prefer not to handle medication unless it's basic and in case of any concerns or emergencies, we act quickly and will keep you informed right away. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own by making sure they feel safe, loved, and not lonely while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and reassured.
