Animals have always been an important part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m a former biologist and researcher, with a lifelong curiosity and respect for animals and their individual personalities, needs and behaviours. I’ve always had pets at home, and over the years I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals — from fish and amphibians to rodents and different kinds of furry companions.

I’m currently a stay-at-home mum while building a new professional path, and pet sitting feels like a wonderful way to combine my love of animals with some meaningful work. I’m patient, responsible and attentive, and I understand how important it is for owners to know that their pets are in safe and caring hands.

I’m happy to offer pet sitting at my home, at your home, or through walks and visits around Ghent. I’m open to caring for many different types of pets and am happy to discuss their individual routines, feeding, medication, exercise and other needs. I currently live with my own little Jack Russell–Papillon mix, who is part of our family.

I’m available for pet sitting and dog walking on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 14:30, and on Sundays. Walks and home visits are usually around 60–120 minutes, or more, depending on your pet’s needs. I can provide walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship and basic care, while following your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible.

Pets can also stay at my home, provided they are comfortable and get along well with our friendly Jack Russell × Papillon mix. As I have a toddler, he will always be supervised and cared for appropriately to ensure a safe and calm environment for every pet. Pets can stay over for eventually longer period of time too if the owners are on holiday.

I’m happy to discuss medication needs in advance and can assist with straightforward medication when I’m confident it can be done safely and according to your instructions. For any specific or complex medical care, I would prefer to discuss the requirements beforehand.
