Hi, my name is Jenny! I'm from Ireland, living in Haarlem with my partner and two small dogs, Daisy and Bear (Yorkie x Jack Russell) - you'll see them in my photos.

I have always been an animal lover and loved the idea of working with pets. I am currently on a sabbatical from marketing and look forward to working with pets via Pawshake.

Experience with pets:

Growing up I always had pets - from hamsters, birds and rabbits to cats, dogs, horses, chickens and goats (yes, all pets!) I love them so much that I became vegetarian at the age of 7 or 8 (I still am) and studied Zoology at university, before moving into Marketing. Over the years, we have kept many different breeds of dogs - Labrador, Border Collie, Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Jack Russell, Rottweiler, Foxhound - and all our cats have been rescues. I am very comfortable with all animals, big or small, and have lots of experience looking after pets of friends and neighbours.

Availability:

I am available for walking or home visits all day, weekday or weekend. I am working part time at a cafe, but will do my best to work around you! At the moment, I can't offer overnight stays at my place but am open to house sitting.

My offer:

Trusting someone to look after your pet can be nerve wracking but I've had some great experiences with sitters for my dogs using Pawshake. I know how great it is to receive photo and video updates, so will make sure to do this for you. It's the best way to see if your pet is happy and having fun! Routine can be very important, so I'm very happy to work with their needs. For home visits, I can water plants if you like.
