About Giulia
Hello! My name is Giulia, I’m originally from Italy and I’ve been living in Brussels for almost five years. I’m currently finishing my PhD at ULB Erasme and I mostly work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of quality time with the pets I care for. I live in the center of Brussels (1000) with my boyfriend, and I can easily move around the city by public transport or by bike.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life and honestly one of the things that make me happiest. Back in Italy, I have a cocker spaniel named Camilla who is now 18 years old. Before moving to Brussels, I took care of her every day, and growing up with her taught me how much love, patience, and attention animals need to truly feel safe and happy. Since moving away from home, I’ve really missed having a dog around, which is one of the reasons why I would love to take care of your pet as if they were my own.
I’m a very caring, calm, and affectionate person, and I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust. I love going for walks and spending time outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I always adapt walks and activities to each dog’s personality and energy level.
Because I work from home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy company and attention throughout the day. Even though I live in an apartment without a garden (I have a small terrace), I make sure dogs go outside regularly for walks, fresh air, and bathroom breaks. I live close to Tour and Taxi so I have a park nearby. Their comfort and wellbeing are always my priority.
To give each pet the attention they deserve, I usually prefer caring for one pet at a time (or pets from the same family). When a new pet arrives, I try to create a peaceful and reassuring environment so they can settle in comfortably at their own pace. I know some pets can feel stressed or anxious when away from their owners, so I always try to be patient, and attentive to their emotions. If your pet has special habits, needs medication, or simply needs extra reassurance, I will happily adapt to their needs.
I also understand how important communication is for pet parents, so I’m always happy to send updates and pictures to help you feel relaxed while you’re away.
Your pet’s safety will always come first for me. I only accept vaccinated pets, and in case of any emergency, I stay calm and contact both the owner and a veterinarian immediately if needed.
Feel free to send me a message if interested.
I would truly love to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love and care 🐾
