I grew up in a cat-loving household back home in New Zealand, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Since moving to Belfast in August 2025, I’ve really missed having pets around, which is a big part of why I’d love to become a pet sitter.

My first job as a teenager was dog walking. For around five years throughout secondary school I regularly walked two dogs for an elderly family friend, three times a week. More recently, I spent the six months before moving here living with and occasionally dog sitting my cousins one-year-old Alsatian German Shepherd (as seen in my photo gallery), so I’m very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs as well as cats.

My family also fostered several kitten litters for the SPCA in New Zealand, which was a highlight of my childhood and something I hope to do in my own home in the future. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while their owners are away.
