About Noëlle
Hi! My name is Noëlle, I am 21 years old and I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I have always loved being around animals and enjoy taking care of them. I am a calm, caring and responsible person, and I would love to give your pet the same attention and care that I would give my own.
I grew up with many different animals including dogs, rabbits and chickens, and I have been taking care of animals from a young age. This has taught me a lot about animal behaviour and communication. I am usually quite good at noticing when an animal is uncomfortable, needs something or simply wants some extra attention. I also regularly take care of my neighbours' cats when they are away, which I really enjoy. I would love to have a cat of my own one day, so I am always happy to spend some extra time with cats!
During my Biology degree, I also gained experience in training dogs as part of an internship. I really enjoyed this and learned how to approach and train dogs in a calm and responsible way. I am happy to follow any training routines or instructions you already use with your pet. If your pet needs medication, I am also happy to discuss this with you beforehand and see what I can safely help with.
Home visits
During a home visit, I will make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, care and affection. Depending on what your pet enjoys, this can include playing, cuddling, feeding and simply keeping them company. I am also happy to water your plants, bring in the mail or take care of other small things around the house while you are away.
I usually stay for around 30–60 minutes per visit, depending on your pet's needs. I am happy to adapt this to what works best for you and your pet.
Dog walking
I offer dog walks of around 1 hour, depending on your dog's energy level and needs. Around Zoetermeer, I can take your dog to places such as Noord Aa, Balijbos or Westerpark, where there is plenty of space to explore and enjoy a walk.
If your dog is older, gets tired easily or simply prefers shorter walks, I can of course do a shorter walk of around 15–30 minutes instead. I will always take your dog's individual needs and preferences into account.
House sitting
If I have a full day available, I am also happy to stay at your home and look after your pets while you are away. We can discuss beforehand how long I should stay and what works best for both you and your pet. I will treat your home with respect and make sure everything is secure when I leave.
My availability and home
I am currently taking a gap year after graduating, so I have quite a lot of free time and a flexible schedule. This means I can often adapt to different schedules and pet care needs.
I live with my mother, my brother and our dog Tommie. Tommie is not always at home, and our house is generally a calm and quiet place without much noise or disturbance. We also have a fully fenced backyard.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send me a message because I would be happy to answer them. Every animal is different, and I think it is important that both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident with me!
