Hi, I’m Ksenia! I live with my partner, Maxim, in an apartment near Zaandam station. I offer boarding and daycare in my home for cats and dogs, dog walks, and home visits. I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes and ages, from Yorkshire Terriers and Italian Greyhounds to Cane Corsos, including stays of up to two weeks. One was an elderly Corgi with arthritis who needed a special diet to lose weight. I followed the owners’ instructions for feeding and walks, maintained the dogs’ usual routines, and paid close attention to their wellbeing. I wash paws after walks and can give your dog a full bath if needed. With cats, I take my cue from their personality: I’m happy to cuddle affectionate cats, play with energetic ones, and leave those who prefer a quiet nap to rest. I follow the owners’ feeding instructions, clean the litter tray regularly, and keep an eye on how much the cat drinks. Fresh water is always available, and I can place bowls in several spots if needed. I also have experience supporting recovery: my own Russian Blue cat was found in the woods in poor health. I helped her recover and later cared for her after surgery. Pet sitting is currently my main focus, so I’m usually home and have plenty of time for your pet. We have no pets of our own or children, and we only host pets from one household at a time. We’ll agree on a comfortable sleeping spot beforehand, and you’re welcome to bring your pet’s own bed to help them settle in. Pets won’t have access to the balcony. During boarding and daycare, I follow your pet’s usual routine and adapt play, rest, and dog walks to their age, health, and energy level. For overnight bookings, I may occasionally go out for an hour or two. During daycare, any time alone will be no longer than one hour. We’ll always discuss whether your pet can be left alone before booking. Dog walks and home visits last at least 30 minutes. During visits, I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, clean the litter tray if needed, and spend time keeping them company or playing. I mainly cover homes within walking distance of Zaandam station and in Westerwatering. I’ll be your pet’s main carer and your point of contact. Maxim may occasionally help, which we’ll also discuss beforehand. During boarding, I’ll send photos and a short update every day; for home visits, I’ll send them after each visit.
