Hello! My name is Carlotta, I am Italian, and I have been living in the Netherlands for the past ten years. I currently live in Zaandam with my husband and our two beloved Pitbulls. I work full-time for an HR–Finance company, but since I mostly work from home, I have the flexibility to dedicate time and energy to my second passion: pet sitting.

I started looking after animals professionally at the end of 2016, when I joined Pawshake just to give it a try. What began as a small side activity quickly turned into something truly meaningful, and today I can proudly say that I have more than ten years of experience caring for pets of all kinds.

Since childhood, I have always had a deep love and respect for animals. Over time, I have developed the physical strength to manage energetic dogs, as well as the patience and sensitivity required to care for shy or delicate pets. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, playful activities, gentle cuddles, or even medication, I adapt my approach to suit their unique needs.

My visits usually last around 20 minutes. During this time, I make sure your pet is fed, watered, walked (if needed), and, above all, showered with love and attention. I am also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and connected while you are away. Please note that for visits in Amsterdam, there is an additional €3 travel fee per visit.

Although I cannot host pets in my own home because of my two dogs, I am more than happy to come to yours to ensure your companion feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I believe every animal deserves care, affection, and respect, and I always treat each pet as if they were my own.
