If you asked me 5 years ago, that I will move to the Netherlands and leave my pets behind I would tell you you are crazy. 
Back in my home country I had to beg my parents for over 3 year to get my first dog. I loved him so much, was my companion during my teenage years (which we know are not easy). My dog Simba passed away my first year in the Netherlands due to kidney failure. 
After my family back home have 3 dogs, Mango (Dad) , Yapa (Mom) and Enzo (puppy). 3 Beautiful golden retrievers. I always see photos of them and I get homesick. why dont I get my own dog in the NL? Well I work full time and just started my professional career so a dog is not yet in my plans.

Hello, I'm Mahin, a 20-year-old with an immense passion for animals. My journey as an animal lover started early on when I took up the responsibility of caring for my aunt's dog. Whether it was ensuring he had a nutritious meal or taking him for walks during my aunt's busy days, I remember being excited to just be helping that little bit.

At the age of 16, I had the chance to intern at a rescue animal shelter. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of animals but also strengthened my commitment to their well-being and it taught me how to navigate the unique personalities of different furry companions.

Despite the miles that now separate us, my heart remains tethered to my beloved dog, Suki, who is back at home in India with my parents and my sister. This separation has only intensified my desire to surround myself with the joy and comfort that animals bring.

Given my background in caring for my aunt's dog and my hands-on experience at the rescue shelter, I believe I am exceptionally well-suited as a pet sitter.
