I'm an 18yr old intern at Huis ter Duin who adores animals and enjoys taking walks on the daily, I myself have two cats and a dog back home in Greece where I am originally from, both of my cats are strays that we picked up off the street and nursed to health in our home. I currently study hospitality in Switzerland and am doing a 6 month stagè here before returning to my studies. Since I come from Greece some of the things I love most include the beach, good food and fostering stray animals until we find them suitable homes. My hours in the mornings are often flexible since I usually work nights at Huis ter Duin and although i have limited experience in watching others petsI grew up my whole life surrounded by animals and would love to be able to spend time with some now that I am away from my own pets. I hope to be able to walk your pets at least twice a day for 30 mins each time ensuing they are safe and well taken care of, I am very responsible when it comes to taking care of animals and would be sure to not let them out of my sight while they are in my care. I would like to mention that I do not speak Dutch, but would be more than open to learning. Dutch commands for dogs in order to ensure walk goes smoother.

Hello I’m Kelly, master’s student in Design, originally from South Africa , and I’ve been living in the Netherlands for four years. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I volunteered at animal shelters, giving animals the care, love, and attention they deserved.

I'm not just your average pet sitter, since I was 16, I’ve run my own side business called Kelly Creates, where I draw portraits of people’s pets. My portraits are of people's companions who are still with us and of those who have passed on, a special memory of them🪽. It’s a way for me to celebrate the special bond we share with our furry friends.
