I am passionate about animals and have always enjoyed spending time with them. Growing up, I had the joy of caring for our Chihuahua and my Grandpa's German Shepherd. From a young age, my sister and I would walk multiple dogs at once in our hometown in Finland, giving me a wealth of experience in handling and understanding various breeds and temperaments. I’ve also had the opportunity to pet sit for cats, broadening my experience with different types of animals.

My motivation for pet sitting comes from my genuine love for animals, and I take pride in providing them with the attention and care they deserve. This also allows me to earn some extra income while pursuing my studies abroad.

My services:

My services include pet walking, daytime pet sitting, and even overnight stays to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand the importance of trust and reliability in pet care, which is why I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to maintain a safe and healthy environment. While I am not trained to provide grooming or formal training, I can administer medication as long as the owner has thoroughly explained when, how and what medication to give. However, I am not able to handle medication that require injections.

In terms of boarding, I typically board one dog at a time to ensure they get my full attention. However, if the dogs are from the same owner, I can board up to two dogs at the same time.

For dog walks, I am flexible and can do walks ranging from 15 minutes to couple of hours, depending on your dog's needs. My usual walks are between 30 minutes to an hour. I can also offer multiple walks per day, with a preferred maximum of 3 walks, depending on my schedule. Feel free to discuss your pet's specific needs with me!

My availability:

I am currently a university student with a flexible schedule. I only have 4 in-class courses per week, each lasting 3 hours. This means I'm available to spend with pets whenever I don't have a class or exams. I can study from home, so during dog boarding or daycare, I can ensure your pets are well-supervised for most of the day.

While I can't provide 24/7 supervision due to my classes, I am dedicated to spending as much time with your pets as possible, fitting pet care into my routine when I'm home. On weekends I am free and thus available for the whole day, depending on my schedule. Feel free to reach out about my availability for specific dates, and I'll do my best to accommodate your pet's needs!

My home situation:

I live in a pretty spacious apartment with two roommates; my sister and our good friend. We will make sure that pets feel welcome and comfortable in our home. Guest pets are allowed to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that is my room, the living room, or the hallway.

While we don't have a private backyard, we live in a calm neighbourhood with a large grassy area right next to our building, perfect for playtime and walks. Although it's not fenced, it's a peaceful spot where pets can enjoy outdoor time while supervised. There are also parks nearby for longer walks.
